Single Males - -
...get a girl to join you....Not only do you now "bring more to the table", but you have the added credibility that if you can find and finesse a girl into joining you in this little adventure we call swinging (whether it be a girlfriend, a wife, a second cousin twice removed, or just a hot fwb) you might just not be a giant douchecopter.
Ignoring the need to "finesse" someone and unhealthy gender stereotypes in general, this line of reasoning is a little troubling as it presumes that a male's company is inherently worth less. Or that an absence of semi-romantic relationships somehow speaks poorly of his character. I personally think approaching someone whom you aren't already fairly close with and soliciting to go to a swingers party is a bit out of line. Especially if her company is sought as an accessory to demonstrate to others that he is not, as you say, “a douchecopter”. Call me old-fashioned.
I know we can't be the only people who secretly wonder just a little bit about some single guys and why they aren't with somebody. Do they secretly hate women (yes, we've met some that actually do), are they just too lazy (or busy, maybe...but hey, we're all busy) to find someone, are they serial killers and/or just not very nice guys?
Oh, I hope you are! That's a really unfortunate outlook to have. Promising relationships take time to find, let alone build to the requisite amount of trust and stability to try things like this. In the mean time, I don't see anything wrong with someone pursuing their interests while still holding out for someone worthy of their emotional investment. To me, that behavior is quite attractive should be respected! It doesn't get any better than someone who is confident, self-actualized, and motivated to pursue their desires. Sadly, it sounds their gender influences whether this is seen as a desirable trait. I'm not sure how long you've been out of things (30 years?), but it's easy to forget the struggle when you're comfortable in a marriage. Things are more fluid. People don't feel the need to settle down like they used to.
I know many will say they've tried and swinging is a deal breaker for most women. After almost 3 decades in the swinging trenches meeting and talking to other people, both couples and singles, we would disagree....many, if not most, women could eventually come around to the idea of swinging once they feel safe and secure in a relationship.
This is just confirmation bias if the evidence comes from a sample of people you have met while swinging.
...those of us who DID put in all the blood, sweat, and tears into a relationship and allow it to grow to the point of daring (don't think for a second we aren't risking a LOT in opening up our relationships to other people!) to allow others access to our significant other sometimes wonder why some others want to take a shortcut to all the sweet swinging bennies with little or no risk on their own part.
If you're not comfortable sharing your wife with someone you might view as a potential competition, you definitely don't have to. On the other hand, there are a lot of people enjoy it :) This smacks of the old “you must suffer as I did” chestnut.

BDSM and Swingers? - Where does BDSM fit in the swingers' world... your thoughts and experiences? - After 10 years of celibacy following a brain aneurysm which left my wife paralyzed and severely brain damaged in a nursing home, I decided that self-denial is unhealthy. Although I had been browsing swinger sites, plus was given a "hall pass" by my wife 6 years ago, it wasn't until 2 years ago I churned up my froze-up engine. My first new life encounter was with a "girl" much younger than my daughter who quickly introduced me to the D/s (Dom/sub) culture in its many dynamics. BDSM, DDlg (Daddy Dom / little girl) role play, hot wax, floggers, blindfolds, rope and chains.... the whole 9 yards! Since then, I have explored and encountered that Daddy Doms can be blessed with very enthusiastic young baby girls. My current little has many facets and gifted me by registering herself as owned property.... a registered slave. Since then I immersed myself in the culture, found out I was a natural-born dominant, and have never looked back. I stay in touch with swinger friends I met over the years (many are also on my Facebook...lol) and have noticed that kink is playing an ever-increasing role in swinging. The rules between the two are VERY different. I am curious to hear if and how it has become part of your play.

Vegas next month - - we can only speak for what we like: zumanity and absinthe are fun and SEXY. copperfield: was great, chris angel = HORRIBLE carrot top: we've seen 3 times, and he updates his show regularly. you will be pleasantly surprised. gordy browne: we've seen 3 times funny and a great variety show any cirque' show is worth seeing, dress up and have a fun date night together. laugh factory & brad garrett's comedy clubs are fun, but really not any better than the cheaper ones you can find @ the discount ticket booths. free concerts on the weekend @ Fremont experience, + great place to people watch! you could go to any of the topless pools, but you DO have to pay to get in. best value is buying a lounger because it comes with food and drink. couples oasis: a private swingers club, huge variety of people that go artisan hotel is a fun and sexy boutique hotel, not well known, but a lot better than any of the swingers clubs. do NOT stay there if you want peace and quiet. western sahara: sex & stripper shops for fun & sexy clothing we go to vegas monthly because we live nearby, and we stay somewhere different each time. sometimes down town, sometimes on the strip, and sometimes @ a Hilton, or embassy suites. for us, we don't do the topless pools anymore. kinda a "been there, done that" thing for us. also because of the extra cost to get in. it's been over 4 years since we've been to couples oasis. but the rest of our opinions are very current. we discovered we are getting older, ouch!! we went to Omnia, and HATED the synth dance music. we prefer r&b and 80 & 90's rock and roll. to get in was $50.00, drinks were $17-22 each, water $7.00. go to Tao, the food is great, and when you are ready to dance, you bypass the long line outside by just going upstairs. if you don't get to vegas often, go to the strip, TONZ of things to see have extra time, go down town, go to pawn stars, vamped, capo's, etc..

Las Vegas - Fun -
What's the best way people have found to hook up with other couples while visiting Vegas? Just posts on websites, or is there something better there? We will be there 9/23 - 9/25, if anyone else from this site is in town let us know
If you use Kasidie, post a Rendezvous. Swinglifestyle (sls) also allows you to post a Hot Date listing. We are also included on a couple of Vegas swingers kik groups.

Swingers Rock Club - Live music, Dancing, and Sexy Friends - Anyone in or near NE PA or the Southern Teir of NY should come out and party. There are several club parties set up in the near future. Check the club listings for Elmira NY and the Swingers Rock Club website for details. Bambi

Any advice? - Recent birthday brings changes..... -

So...having just recently turned 93 years of age, I have a few questions. 1. I enjoy the meet and greets but thinking it is going to be more and more difficult to find a "parking" spot for my walker when I'm out "break" dancing. 2. Are swingers really kind enough to help me up off the dance floor after I "break" something, and get tired of "peeking up skirts?" 3. What are the chances of a pretty girl actually getting close enough to me to allow such a peek? And, finally... 4. Is there ANY real chance I'm still gonna get any "action" here? I have lots of popcycle sticks and rubber bands..so that isn't an issue. I have a hot 42 year old wife to reward anyone that helps.... Ahhh..so many concerns...and questions. Maybe it's just time to "hang up the spats" and stick with the nurses in the ER for the extra curricular stuff.... ~Mr TiffnD~
Hilarious Mr. TiifnD. I sincerely doubt you will have any problems with your extra curricular activities. I have personally witnessed you at....ahem 93... Molest Mrs. Always with Greta gusto and satisfaction by all! LOL
Ohhhh...I ABSOLUTELY love molesting Mrs Always! And when she brings Greta..it's even better! Thanks for the encouragement Mr Always!

A letter to Single Men looking to meet a willing Single Woman - -
OK single peoples I could use some advise. My ex and I divorced 3 months ago. We were active swingers and that did not have anything to do with the divorce. We are still best friends and hang out all the time just live separate places and are following our different paths in life which was one of the things that led us to our divorce. Now upon divorce we talked about our Swingular profile and swinging in general. We love it and want to continue to attend parties together and be each others "wingman" per say. I have clearly outlined this on our profile in our description. Now to where I need advise. Now as a single man I would like to also find a single lady to have some fun with as well. I messaged and emailed and well to say the least the majority think I'm lying and trying to cheat, or wont talk with me because I do not have a profile picture. I explain that I cant post a public picture as it could cost me my job if the wrong person were to see it, but I'm happy to email one if requested. Now several months later I have not received one invite, one friend request, its radio silence. I would like to change this but I don't know how. Its led me to feelings of maybe I'm just not attractive enough sob story sob story bla no one wants to hear that crap, but I'm super frustrated. Any advise would be welcome. Thanks in advance. Aaron
This might sound simplistic, but I have been approached by government agents, school principals, Fortune 500 CEO's and CFO's that are unable to provide a face picture but will email one as you mentioned. Why can't you put your face picture in your private pictures. The only people that would see it is the ones you granted access to? I am given some reasons for this from them, but most stem because of government conspiracy theories. Hoping that is not you. If you can be fooled granting access you can also be fooled sending your picture by email. I don't want to give out my email to single men or newly single men with or with out a wing woman. Assuming you are verified and I haven't checked that, but this would also insure the person you are communicating with that the picture is indeed you. Just a thought.
