Denver. what to do? - Headed to Denver next week, what must duo's are there? - I've lived on and off in Boulder/Denver for over 12 years and I can tell you the LS scene is booming! Yes, The Ranch (scarlet ranch) is great but you have to pay to get in and it's best when there's an event like NYE or a foam party (those are great!) I would get on scarletlifestyle.com, which is their companion site kind of like Swingular. There you can meet people in the area and see what events are going on at the Ranch while you're there. So the joke in Denver is...if you go to Highlands Ranch (SW Denver) and you see white rocks in the front yard then they are swingers. Denver, or to be specific, Highlands Ranch, is home to the largest swinger/lifestyle community in the country so enjoy! For fun, Shotgun Willie's (Glendale) and La Boheme (downtown Denver), both strip clubs, are fun and fillup with LSers on Friday and Saturday nights. Young Couples, Females 18-25? - We see a variation... - when we first started out in this lifestyle We were both 23. 10 years ago Holy CRAP we werent married yet and we were only experimenting well it worked well for us we're still enjoying it 10 years later. When we first started we had a hard time finding couples like us (our age similar builds etc. ) its only been recently (last few years) that lots of new faces and younger couples are Diving in Face first or leggs spread however you want to phrase it.. and now look at us we're NOW (OLD) LOL Not young and hot anymore (Phfooey on that ) well we have learned its good to go outside your normal comfort zone be attracted to whats in the box and not always whats outside if you want lasting friendships and repeat good times. yeah Sometimes there are exceptions but we try to base it on chemistry and our Feelings for the people not always how they look. who's Online - - Just an FYI on this topic from the source. In response to MAYBEMOR's statement, we do not use deception, nor do we create fake profiles. We have never done that and never will. We've been around for 10 years, all the profiles you see are accumulative up to this point. Because most of the members are lifetime members, we are not obligated to remove inactive profile with lifetime membership status. However, we do remove non-lifetime, non-paying members after 6 months of inactivity.
How do you know we aren't creating fake profiles? You don't. You just have to take our word for it I guess. Being around for 10 years has it's privileges. For one, our member base is big enough that creating fake profiles doesn't do us any good. It would actually hurt us since nobody on the other end would be responding. Second, we are in the top 10 of all swinger related search results. We don't need to create fake profiles since we are getting tons of new members each day anyways. Just search for 'adult swingers' or 'swinger ads' on Google and see for yourself.
As for Who's Online, there is a 4 hour window from the last time you have any activity and then the system will delete you automatically. The way the internet works, there is just no true way to tell you are online without constantly hitting the server with requests which would end up slowing down the website for you and everyone else. So we keep you in the system just in case you are away from your computer and you still want people to know you are available. Thus the 4 hour window.
As for chat, if you see someone listed in the chatroom list before you open chat, it's because they probably logged out of chat but left the chat window open. The website and chatroom are on two different platforms and do not communicate with each other. We have to use the chat window as a mechanism to tell us who 'may' be in the chatroom. This system relies on the last person in the chatroom to clean out the database information for those that were in the chat room and since they are that last ones, it will keep them showing, even if they aren't there.
Also, if someone is in the chatroom and leaves for a moment, the chatroom will kick them out. Since the chat window is still open, it will show them on Swingular as in the chatroom.
So this isn't a matter of deceptive practices, it's a matter of mechanics.
