We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Again, the intent of this post wasn't to obsess over this one bad time. It was to express our feelings and frustration. The advice everyone has shared with us is very helpful. We just want to avoid this kind of situation in the future. Realistically we do realize that we will come across this sort of thing again but atleast now we will be better prepared to deal with it. We will do things differently next time. How did you pick your screen name? - Screen names are funny..... - Ours is a holdover from the "Dubya" years. He frequently talked about certain people and groups as "evildoers" and we were talking about it one night in bed after a swing party and decided that he would probably think that we, as swingers, were also evildoers. Right then and there we decided to change our screen name.
The REALLY funny thing is that a number of years ago there was a thread started by someone who claimed that if you put your Swingular screen name into Google it would, like, bring up your profile or pics from your profile or whatever. You don't have to justify the charity, only show a user-base that is interested in donating. If you are the one "taking care", all proceeds can go to you, since you are the one providing/ensuring their care. The money can be used in any manner that coincides with "the care of swingers" to include your compensation for working toward the care of swingers. The beauty of it is, you can even file for tax exempt status, save the income portion that goes to you and your staff for their work. If a church can do it, so can you.

Extramarital Affairs and the Lifestyle - Where do you stand? - we find it rather interesting that man or woman feels the desire to be with others and would risk losing their family for extramarital sex . when all you have to do if realize that that open communication with your spouse is all you need . we do not play alone and that due to the fact we are spicing up our sex life, not mine or hers we do it together because it brings us closer in alot of ways. if the day comes when one or both of us are no longer turned on by seeing the other with someone else , or playing just doesnt feel right , we will stop! lets face it people will always be attracted to others no matter how perfect your marrige seems so why not explore that together and when you look back on it years from now youll be able to say man we had alot of fun and wouldnt change a thing .
p.s. the divorce rate for swingers is about 3/4 less than that of vanilla couples! woder why?

I would say first off to give it time.
Trust and friendships within the swinging community often takes time and cultivating.
It is a large and close-knit community...which means that the more people that you meet, you will meet their friends and get more peeps in your "swinging network".
Only being on this site for 2 weeks means that your exposure to the social side of the community has been VERY limited. To compound that, you're legally underage for the types of activities (drinking) and venues that many of these activities occur.
Be patient, and look for the other ways to meet people on here.
The chat room is always a good start, there is a good variety of swingers from all age groups and social statuses that are there.
Being active (in a POSITIVE, not argumentative way...we all know who we are) on the Forum threads is another way to get yourselves better known.
What I would NOT do, however...is whine that you're not getting any chances given to you. That arguement is certainly not unique to the younger crowd here, as many of the older people can complain that they're not given a chance either due to their age, gray hair...whatever.
Trust me...you don't want a reputation for being a complainer.

PurfectLV party this weekend - - We know in some circles it is considered bad form to reply to your own post, but we thought an update on PurrfectLV would be useful for some. We went to the party last Friday night and we really enjoyed it.
The venue at the top of the Mandalay Bay is fantastic. The swinger group has a separate room with a bar and with music at a low volume so conversation is easy. You can also go mingle in the main club/bar if you want to dance. There is also a great outdoor patio/balcony with a view of the Strip.
The crowd (at least those we talked to) were mostly out of towners - for example, there was a whole party from Alaska who had only arrived in Vegas that night. There did also seem to be some regulars. Everyone seemed very easygoing and friendly - like most swingers.
You can buy the admission ticket online before hand (we did) - it is more expensive to pay at the door. Online cost was $40 (plus a fee) for a couple with no additional charge for our third (a single female). Adding a single guy would ramp this up significantly. We are not sure how this compares to the regular admission to the club but it seemed reasonable given the private room. Bar prices were a bit steep by SLC standards - $14 for a glass of wine.
Iman is a gracious and efficient hostess. She does this every week and has obviously streamlined the process. One really nice touch is that PurrfectLV guests don't have to stand in the regular line and are given a wristband. This gets you into the private room and means that you can also recognize other swingers even in the main bar.
The main party runs from 10.30pm. At 1.30pm many people moved on to the after party which is in a hotel suite. This party is effectively a private house party and is BYOB. We didn't go so can't comment but it is definitely a full swing party. Iman circulates at the main party and distributes a second wristband for those interested. There is an additional contribution for this ($20/couple, single female again free).
