Christain Swingers? - - I think overall Religion has a poor track record when it comes to morallity. That is one of the reasons there are so many divisions in christianity. Often,when someone wants to justify their veiw on an issue they use religious interpitation to back it, some have even started new religions or branches of their previos religion to accomidate their position. Wars have been fought , people persecuted, tortured and put to death in the name of religion, and it still occurs on this very day. I remember a statement, said to be made by Jesus Christ: "He who has not sinned cast the first stone". I think the person about to be stoned was accused of adultry. One of his close followers and friends was a prostitute. He went to the temple to tell the holier than thou, they were missing the point, and if I recall he was said to have given his sermons in the streets, and roads to anyone who wanted to listen. Karl Marx (I do not believe in Communism) refered to religion as the "opium of the people". I think he may have been on to something. I had 12yrs of religious study in Catholic grade & high school and I think rather than brain washing me it opened my eyes up to the contradictions in religion. I think you have to step away from religion to be really objective, when looking at the morality of any issue. I feel a persons faith and beliefs are a personal and individual thing. Organized religion can often pollute your judgement, if you let it. If you can step away from it and look objectively at your choices in life, you may also find there is still room for you to step back in, and find a place for yourself in its boundries, also. I think like COTA has experienced, religion has let a lot of us down in one way or another. It is up to each of us to make up our own minds, when it comes to matters of faith and morality. You are right that marriage is a concept designed by religion and the government for the care of offspring and the clear definition of linage for property rights. You use the term marriage, which is a legal term like it is a moral imperative then ask if it should be based on some one or group of common interrests. Then the next breath you suggest that marriage is supposed to be more than any of that and something to do with sharing and intimacy. Finally you go back to somehow trying to make a point, (I'm not sure what that point was) that maybe there should be a conglomerate of reasons for marriage then with the nesxt breath you ask if sex should be forbidden.. Tooele Thirsty Thursday OCT 8 - looking to do a meet and greet with tooele couples - so i already posted in our tooele group but would love to meet a few tooele couples who partake in the lifestyle. so after talking to the mrs. we figured wed like to do a meet and greet at (to keep this for couples tell me your interested and ill pm you the location.) on oct 8 at 7pm. this gives the tooele swingers a bit of an easy way to meet and get to know each other. hopefully we can make this a regular thing and maybe include some fun down the line as well.

swingers resort - - Sea Mountain landed in Desert Hot springs after Dewie lost his place in Malibu CA. He brought the Hollywood vibe with him when he took over the new place & he sunk a ton of money into it. He works hard to keep everything high end, from the Egyptian cotton linens to the mineral water hot tub. Its a nice place. It tends to be high energy & It's normally packed. I often stay at a German spa that is a few blocks away & just get day passes to sea mountain when they are full. The clientele is a little mixed, but it's mostly pretty people & there is normally a lot of action there. Food in the area is hit & miss. My favorite reasonably priced restaurant is a place called Fisherman's in Palm Springs. The area gets kind of sketchy at night. I've had some run ins with crack heads when I've gone for supplies late in the evening. Sea Mountain itself is completely safe, but I would plan to stock up on supplies during the day. Also, the AM/PM station on Gene Autry Trail doesn't take credit cards after dark, so plan your gas around that as well.
