What about the lifestyle didn't meet your expectations? - Preconceptions and disappointment. - For us, one of the things that surprised us was that all swingers were not extremely gifted and intuitive lovers. We kind of expected to be out of our league with a group of people who, having ostensibly had sex with a lot of people, would be extremely adept at the art of making love but with maybe a few exceptions we were very wrong. LOL Another big shock was what terrible kissers most swingers are. It's funny, many of them THINK they are good kissers but our experience has been that most seem to have all the skills of a 10th grade high school vigin when it comes to sensuous kissing. Has anyone else found many of their play partners to be extremely lacking when it comes to kissing skills?

Harvest Ball - - The swingers in Price have a Harvest Ball? You Carbon County fuckers are KINKY! [em]Emo_84[/em]

Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I'm sure anyone on our friends list got the previous email about our trip to Mexico and wanting to put a trip together in the spring. If you didn't, well that's the gist of it! Our availability would be between May 9th-17th. Probably thinking 4-5 nights (we have a little one at home so that makes it hard for us to leave for too long) but I'm sure any of you that wanted to could stay longer/shorter could do that. We would probably plan one big group excursion (we did sailboating, snorkling, parasailing and shopping all in one excursion for one day for only $135 total for both of us combined and that wasn't even a group rate) to do one of the days and maybe the bar hopping one night? Other than that there are tons of other excursions to do, or lets face it laying around in the pool with the swim up bar sounds pretty amazing too! So if you are interested in joining us for an awesome vacation (we promise it will be one you NEVER forget!) please email me back. If you have Facebook let me know that too so I can give you the link to the resort and you can check out their fan site and also all our pictures from our trip. Otherwise here is the main website http://www.secretsresorts.com/ Start dreaming of sand, all inclusive amazing food and drinks, ocean-view swim up rooms, and 90 degree weather! -Erica and Ross

Another Swingers Show on TV - - Sounds like we all missed the fun. The show was fine, but not as much fun as the real thing. Hope to see you guys soon. Charlie & Kathi

Excuse me? But are you guys swingers? - Excuse me? But are you guys swingers? - I think that just be respectful and ask straight up if they are in the "lifestyle" . If they aren't they won't know what you are talking about or if they are then you have a straight answer...yes. No one will ever be offended if they don't know what you are talking about. Also you might ask what they are talking about if they seem to be hinting..... Like ask... are you talking about swinging?... I guess it all depends on a number of factors... Are these people neighbors, someone you've just met and don't really know them or them you....Are these acquaintences that you know fairly well that are talking maybe to find out if you are in the lifestyle... So the reaponce is basically conditional... Can they hurt you? If not then what's to loose.

Moab lifestyle - looking for what lies under the covers in Moab - Sadly Evildoers is right, at least in our experience. Sure, plenty of swingers travel to Moab, but if there is a notable population of local swingers interested in meeting outsiders, they keep themselves incredibly well-hidden. In fact, you'd be very hard-pressed to even find a single-male to join you, and that's even if you completely toss out any expectations and standards. The reality is that the bulk of Utah's population is on the sexually conservative end of the spectrum.

Northern Utah Party ... Damn It! - We WILL hunt you down ... - I know this is a long rambling post. I hope you'll humor me. My intentions are good! :) I'm completely un-associated with the party heretofore mentioned. Wow--that sounded like lawyer-speak! OK, so there's a party coming up on Saturday in the Ogden area. I'm pretty much an expert on it 'cause I don't know the hosts, don't know the venue, and have never been there. [em]Emo_59[/em] But I've been to the Draper area version and can tell you that it's very classy. We're goin, but we may not be your cup-o-tea. But looking at the guest list, there are some VERY sexy folks planning on being in attendance. Ask yourself, why aren't YOU on that list? Now I've heard, here-'bouts, that it's kinda difficult to meet up with swinger-type people on here (or elsewhere). I'd not disagree. Having said that, wouldn't it be a good idea to support those folks who organize such parties? And show up, so that they continue? So that even more venues/parties are available in the future? So that more like-minded couples appear before your very eyes at similar parties? Reasons NOT to go to the party: You're shy. Screw you, so am I, now get yer ass to this party so that we can be shy together. [em]Emo_12[/em] Seriously, I'm so goofy on here that people expect me to be some kind-a comic in-person. I ain't. I'm shy. The written word is more my forte'. I've got to push myself (and quiet hubby) in order to attend these things. We always have fun and always meet at least a few new people. And everyone attending this party has agreed not to be "clique-ish" and to push their comfort zone by introducing themselves to at least three other couples/groups that they don't know, and to invite those couples into their inner circle. OK, they really haven't promised that. But they will after they read this. Or I'll bring that riding crop that I bought for the "50 Shades" party and beat them senseless with it. You're new to swinging. I can't think of a better way to ease into it. These are not all out everyone rip their clothes off orgy kinda things. Why not? 'Cause the prudes won't let me have my way, DAMN IT! Errr...skip that last sentence. Anyhoo, there's typically some darkened rooms where, sure enough, folks are "smooching". Smooching may be a slight understatement. But the voyeurs peek in, the exhibitionists go for it, and us in-between types do a bit of both. No pressure, the comfort level and level of participation is up to you. A GREAT introduction to the swing scene. Too Expensive. Crawl outa yer freakin' cave, would ya? [em]Emo_79[/em] Here's seven letters for ya that explain it: "Open Bar." Of course there's ususally some light snacks as well. And like I said, if you go to the right room, NAKED PEOPLE. Yeah, I know, makes that last porno DVD you bought seem overpriced, doesn't it? And hell, for me personally, hubby doesn't drink, and if I hit more than three drinks I typically wake up flat on my back, naked, legs spread, wondering why the hell I'm feeling so sore "down there." [em]Emo_85[/em] So yeah, I keep it to 3 drinks or less, but still feel that we get our $25 bucks worth as a couple. You're an overbearing, pushy, arrogant, obnoxious, azzhole. Yer right. You really should stay home and enjoy some "alone time". Reasons to Cum to the Party: Lets be honest here: Who DOESN'T like to Cum, right? Swingers are NOT just gonna fall right into your lap. Unless you come to this party. Or I hit the four drinks previously mentioned. Then gently ease my legs back together, would ya? Even if you might be shy, you can meat, errr..."Meet", potential folks that you might want to communicate or hang out with later. Even vicariously as you see the interactions among other folks, you may just find some folks you're interested in. There are lots of nooks and crannys. It's my understanding that there are various nooks, crannies, bedrooms, sitting areas, etc where people may gather. It can actually be a more intimate type thing than you might expect, so if you ARE shy, it's not like you've got to "perform" before a huge audience. OK, sorry, end of rant. I just feel it's a bit like politics. If you don't fully participate, quit yer bitchin! I'm not even going to attempt to articulate the names of the various party hosts that provide for such gatherings and venues. We have a great appreciation for their time and efforts and for sticking their necks out to do it ... you are ALL awesome. :) Oh, and if you do cum? Say Hi, OK? If you find a wild-haired redhead humping on your leg like a 2 year old un-neutered Irish Setter? That'll be me. [em]Emo_54[/em]

Are you a Swinger or Liver? - -
Would "Ethical Non Monogamy" sound better to you. What we are talking about here is leaving the external societal rules behind and doing what we feel good with, sometimes that means we set our own rules. I'm sure that you have your own rules too, of one sort or anther. The Reason we Swingers have rules is that we enter this lifestyle with our own needs and wants and the needs and wants of our mates. We need to balance both while rejecting the conventional norm. Our sex life is like something out of an erotic novel that most people can't imagine is real, but we love it, rules and all.
What they said. Swingers allow many people, singles and couples to play as they choose with that those that want to swing, play or whatever they agree on.

couples gf? - has any couples thought of this or had/have a gf -

is it wrong of me to believe that no girlfriend of a couple should expect anything beyond sex?
nope. I think the same... if a girlfriend expects more, then she is just setting herself up for a broken heart and disappointment.
It's not that easy. What if the man falls for the girlfriend. It is possible to love more then one person romantically, it happens all the time. Even friends of mine who have cheated on their wives, still love their wives, it's not just sex to some of these men. Sometimes I wonder if "Swingers" or "lifestylers" get so paranoid about falling for someone that they miss some of the fun that comes with sexual play with those you care about or ...cough...love. Love isn't something that is always controllable or a feeling that always can be tamed. I've read these posts for years, and it happens all the time in the lifestyle. Couple "A" plays with single male or female, they play often, soon one of the couple is in love with the secondary, then all hell breaks loose. I just asked myself, why? That person you fell in love with originally is still the same person, they may love someone else as well, but they in most cases still love you as well. Shut down the social conditioning that tells you it's wrong! So is swinging by the way if you listen to those religious cultural voices. Talk it over with your spouse, let them know it's okay to feel what ever they want to feel. Keep those communication lines open, and often the "fallen" partner will realize they love two and they do not have to love only one person. Sorry for the sermon, but I just cringe when I read these replies where people attempt to deny what makes them fundamentally human. It's okay to love others, even if they are not your spouse. Just remember who you are going home with and who was by your side the last umpteen years.
I used to work for a MORMON sex therapist... his usual statement" Love is easy... for the most part it requires the right emotion and the right impetus.... It's the RELATIONSHIP that is hard." I love many of the bodies/minds that I've touched... but I've never found a satisfaction better than what I've discovered with a husband of 17 years and our two amazing kids. I don't need anything from outside sources but a chance to see "what's out there..." Perhaps that's the real difficulty... analyzing our motives and admitting our jealousies. For example, I consider myself flat chested... It's why I LOVE encounters with buxom women... but I am willing to admit that my interest comes from a place of jealousy ... I don't ignore jealousies...I use them to my advantage. I am not girlfriend material... Monogamy bores me. But I do fit in with the group of couples who want full honesty.

Pineapple Stickers - pineapple sticker = swingers? - Interesting. I have not heard of this, but this is definitely going to have me on the lookout. 😁
