New Relationships - - Yep. Swinging is couples centric. If there weren't couples what would swinging even be? Hooking up. But there are plenty of couples who also like to add the occasional single to the mix. Hell, some even play that way exclusively. swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - That's really funny. I thought every forum was about talking about lots of different things from lots of different people. At least, the one's I've checked out are. Nobody is forcing you to read the "non-swing" talk, noboby is even asking you to. If you're scanning the forums and you don't like the topic, pass it by. It's pretty simple. I can't count the number of threads I've personally ignored. I like the threads where people are expressing their views on various things, simply because it's alot easier to see their views than it is to email and ask "hey, what are your thoughts on (insert topic)." It helps me decide if the people are someone that I'll be able to carry on a conversation with. If a person can't stimulate me mentally, there's no chance of them stimulating me sexually.

Log in Issue - I am not a robot - Yeah, if I didn't think it was ALL about Swingular trying to block any apps that they don't own I wouldn't worry about it that much (or whine apparently). But it's laughable that anyone would seriously think they're doing it to protect security on the site...at least as far as preventing hordes of unscrupulous spammers and/or Russian identity thieves from taking advantage of swingers. It wasn't all that long ago that you could Google your screen name and get directly into the site.
But as long as I'm whining I'd LOVE it if Swingular would, like most other MODERN internet sites, block people from sending identical spammed e-mails to multiple members. It's not that hard to do. I know that might harsh the buzz of a few single dudes who are just too darned busy to personalize an e-mail to a specific couple and find the shotgun approach a far simpler way to get their brand out there (or at least shoot for a sexual ROI of 1% or so). You can absolutely go to a resort and "watch". When we went to Hedo we were shocked at how many total newbies were there (outnumbered the seasoned swingers 2 to 1...but that could have been an anomaly for all we know). But we also saw more than a few inexperienced couples who caused some drama because they got there, got all hot and bothered, and weren't ready for the consequences (and weren't on the same page as far as the "what if's" of jumping into the lifestyle). YMMV
What really defines a TRUE swinger? - - We don't consider singles swingers, but have no problem playing with them on occasion. We play with both couples and singles and still consider ourselves swingers. Most the time, I initiate simply because I'm the more social and outgoing one. Sometimes he makes the calls. We both have to agree on the situation, but we can take turns making the calls.
