Swinger Literature? - magazine articles, books, web articles... - As EdNBrenda said a very good book would be "The Lifestyle." It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - The Moose is still alive and well! We talked with the new man that is now running the place last Friday night when we were there, and he has some great ideas to make the Moose better than ever! Here's a little info that we learned about the new changes, and we want to share it with everyone.: * Friday's are now Lifestyle night. It use to be "Gay Night" (as it was always referred as), and the Lifestyle just shared the club with them. It is still open to the public; however, they are trying to get the Lifestyle to take over Friday's. * Upstairs will still be reserved for Lifestyle guests, and will still require a wristband for access. There will be a bartender upstairs. * The price to get in is $5.00 for Lifestyle members per person. This includes a free shot ticket and access to the upstairs. YOU MUST SPECIFY THAT YOU ARE WITH THE LIFESTYLE GROUP when paying; otherwise, you'll have to pay the $10.00 per person price that the general public will have to pay to get in. * The dance floor will still be for everyone. * Once a month they will have a live band on Friday nights. This will begin on this Friday night, April 13, 2018. The band this week is CHANGING LANES, and is sure to be a great performance and lots of fun! You can Google them to get an idea of their music. * When the live band is done, there will still be a DJ playing music so the dancing and fun can continue. There will be a live DJ every week. * One of the biggest complaints about the Moose in the past has been that it's too loud to socialize. There will be a sound man that will now control the volume of the music upstairs so that we can all talk and meet new people and actually be able to hear what each other are saying. It will still be loud enough to enjoy and dance to, so don't worry about losing the music vibe that pumps us all up! Please note, when the live band is playing, they control the volume, not the Moose personnel. So good things are coming for the Moose Lounge, and it's up to US to make it a success! Let's get out and have some fun together this Friday night...and Every Friday night! There are not a lot of options for the lifestyle in Utah. We can make this club our own and finally have a decent place to hang out.

Where are the Midwest Swingers? - - Seriously. I'm a recent college grad, and my guy is still in school, so we can't go traipsing off around the country to meet people. Where are the swingers from Ohio, Indiana, western PA, south Michigan, etc? No offense to the people on our friends list, but I'm tired of getting all excited to see that we have a new message only to find it's a friend request from someone in freaking Utah. I mean, seriously. Literally everyone I know who graduated from college in 2009 is working a dead end job somewhere. None of us has a career, so even if we were willing to spend the money to travel cross-country for casual sex, we don't have it to spend. I've visited some other swinging sites, and on many of them, there were lots of ....well, profiles, at least, from Ohio. We've met several couples from one of the sites, even though we haven't swung with them. WTF?

Hedonism, Tempations, Sandals, or others? - - Our vote is Desire RM (there are two Desire's in Cancun, Pearl and RM). The best part about Cancun is you can fly direct from SLC and it's a fairly short inexpensive flight so your vacation is at the resort and not in airports like you have to do to get to Hedo. We're members at RM and if you book any of the three resorts (Temptation, RM and Pearl all owned by the same group) book it through a member as you'll get some perks you wouldnt otherwise get Pearl is a nicer, smaller resort with extremely large rooms, a massive pool and massive hot tub with a laid back vibe. Its a bit more expensive than RM and it tends to lean to a bit older crowd than RM. If you want to relax in a clothing optional resort (pretty much everyone is nude except at dinner and then the parties at night) this is your best choice. RM is a party all day and all night, the rooms are really small unless you upgrade to a suite. The Pool is really small for the amount of people and the hot tub is tiny. Because it has twice as many rooms as Pearl you have more folks to meet and party with. The crowd is younger and stays up all night long. If you're looking to really party at a clothing optional (pretty much everyone is nude except at dinner and then the parties at night) resort this would be our choice. Temptation is the least expensive of the three and it's a topless resort. The amount of swingers at this resort is the least of the three. You will find lots of folks just dipping their toes in the water here. It also allows single people to come so you'll find single guys at this resort where Desire is couples only. They've recently remodeled it and we've been told good and bad since the remodel. If you're not a swinger or just testing the water this is the resort we'd go to. I'd also like to add that quite a few couples opt to have the man from a friendly, familiar, and secure couple fill the role of the second man from time to time. Most of the people here have healthy, loving, and established lives with someone they trust deeply. The less in-roads for unstable elements, the better. Don't take it personally. When I was active as part of a couple screening all the single men was a chore. There is an unfortunately well-deserved stigma tied to single men in this scene. Many figure that swingers are an easy lay and end up simply being a nuisance, or worse, a creep or downright menace. Disrespect and deception abound. That's not a personal knock as I don't know ya. Be smart. Be respectful. Don't fret if you're not a hot commodity. It's the nature of the scene.
