Whats happend to us since.... - - We've met some really kick ass people, to include the author of this post. My wife and I are from Oregon where the scene is a little more mainstream and a little less "Hush Hush". With all of the that "Hippy Love" left over from the 60's, the "On-Premise" clubs and being so full of liberals, Oregon is a swingers paradise. The Ironic thing is, because of the religious backgrounds of a lot of the Native-Born Utahans (being told no and don't from birth), they are some of the most sexually explosive people I have ever encountered. It is, at times, breathtaking! In fact my wife and I went from, soft swap voyeurs to the full swing naughty things, because of the energy here. It is as though we struck gold in the desert. We noticed that dynamic almost immediately when we first entered the lifestyle and were actually talking about it just today in the context of no quid pro quo being a distinct positive in the column of open or poly lifestyles vs. swinging. Been to the rooster once, never again, repulsive, rooting from the cleanliness of the entire place. Been to the Green Door, the cleanliness you would expect. Common area and viewing area littered with single men, seems to be promoting their store. Not traveled like you, but have Trapeze in Miami area to compare these with, also in Atlanta which I find much more desirable than vegas clubs. The Artisan is a fun place and most times you can get something started if that is what you are looking for. Also find the VIP parties at Paris a great place to find like minded people, while not designated as a swinger club, easy to spot the couples looking for a lost night in vegas if that is what you are looking for.

I Don't Care if You LIKE Me... Let's F**K! (???) - - We are not a "friends first" couple but the attraction has to be there personality-wise too. We totally agree about friendships in the lifestyle. We didn't enter it to make a bunch of new friends but wow, some of our best friends are swingers. What a great, unexpected benefit! Most of the people we are friends with we have not fucked. For some the personality attraction is there, for others the physical... and we need both. We even have some friends that are physically attractive to us, have personalities that make us very good friends, yet the sexual chemistry just seems awkward for whatever reason. Another odd observation of ours has been that a less physically attractive person becomes very attractive an fuckable with the right personality, but a very physically attractive person is sexually repulsive to us if they are an asshole. We have probably slept with less than 10% of our close friends in the swing community. Everyone we did play with did not end up a friend but not because we didn't like them. Sometimes it's just a matter of not having time to build a relationship and friendship not being a pre-requisite for us.
