I would hope that it is not sour. I am only trying to prevent disinformation. It is unfair to pigeon hole people based on locale. I think a lot of the issues here stem from differences in culture. Most apply their own upbringing as the standard for which is considered appropriate. If we are more open-minded about others view, we will often find the intent is good. I, like many, am guilty of letting my own perspective cloud my judgment. We are all guilty of it to some degree. It is the very reason wars are started. Human nature is plagued by this unfortunate trait. Anyway, my intent here is not to cause mayhem, only to express my opinion and promote tolerance.

This lifestyle - What are we really? - I guess we are Poly-Swingers. Basically we are and have been swingers for some time now, I however, am quite poly and have several lady friends who I love deeply. Finding 2 couples is not as difficult as some might think. One of my lady friends is married and our families are quite close. Fact is they are not swingers at all but she is poly and he is poly friendly. The other is separated and both my wife and I love this lady to the ends of the earth. So we are poly.
Now, we are also swingers . We do have sex with people that we are not in love with. We do, however, care about people and we prefer to get to know people first before sex. We have been known to get it on on the first meeting if the chemestry is right.... I don't see any division in swinging because someone may be poly but enjoys sex with people that just hit it off.

The wife and I often do Cancun for fun adult vacations however, due to Covid , we have to stay state-side this year. We are debating between Sea Mountain Inn in Palm Springs or One Love Nude Resort in Vegas. We have never been to either. Any thoughts or suggestions?? Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Yes, many in the lifestyle are as judgmental as those outside. I am 15 pounds overweight but to some I am as broad ahat comess a battleship. What's more, after 34 years of marriage, 24 of which were in the lifestyle, my wife died. All of a sudden I was persona non grata at the club we attended because single males were not allowed. I had not changed, only my marital status. I have been pilloried and shunned because of being lumped with the FEW young single guys who don't have a clue. Now I have 3 strikes: I'm old, I'm slightly overweight, and single. I've learned these last 9 years that swingers are just as cruel, predjudiced and uncaring as other people.
