My point is this......TACT is something you have to WANT to learn and apply to your life, where you live usually only decides how far you can run your mouth before getting punched out, some people tolerate others better over different subjects, you might find more racism in a community that has a majority, the more mixed the culture, the more diverse, the less mixed, probably less diverse (that can be a matter of geography.)

Our profile used to include mostly goofiness -- but then that was OK 'cause that's pretty much been our approach to this whole swingin' thing. It's not all that important in the scheme of things and seems to always work out best for us if we don't take it or ourselves too seriously. We're pretty comfy with where we're at now with friends and all -- so I've toned it down to reflect that but if I were back into a voracious hunt again I'd certainly take your remarks into consideration. You can absolutely go to a resort and "watch". When we went to Hedo we were shocked at how many total newbies were there (outnumbered the seasoned swingers 2 to 1...but that could have been an anomaly for all we know). But we also saw more than a few inexperienced couples who caused some drama because they got there, got all hot and bothered, and weren't ready for the consequences (and weren't on the same page as far as the "what if's" of jumping into the lifestyle). Well thank you! Sorry, didn't mean to come off as an old curmudgeon. It's just kind of weird to us to go to swing parties nowadays and see like a third (or more!) of the people tapping/swiping text into their phones while other people are gettin' their sexy on. Don't get me wrong. I'd rather give up beer than live without my smart phone but it seems kind of silly to be so absorbed in it when one is ostensibly at a party to hook up and have sex with other people. Swingers clubs in Amsterdam - - I was just in Amsterdam a few months ago and Tinder actually worked really well. Also going to bars or clubs works well because lots of people on vacation wanting to get wild are there as well.
If you are looking for a couple or to strictly swing there is the "Candyclub" and "Paradise Club" I haven't been to either since the Mrs was back in the states but I was told by some friends that either of those can be great. Most of the people you see no matter where you go will be anything but dutch. Amsterdam is a melting pot of nations and you'll see people from all corners of the world.
As for places to stay "The Albus" is centralized in the city and all the fun things to do within walking distance. Getting around in a car is not needed and actually would suck way more than just riding a bike, walking or just taking the very inexpensive public transit.
If you are looking for some unique fun that you can't really get in the states the Red Light district has live sex shows that were hilarious and very well done for $40/person you won't get any action but it was well worth it and the girls we were with LOVED it. Also I've been told that the prostitutes are highly regulated; are tested daily to be STD free; and are open to couples. They are also drop dead gorgeous.
