Both have been gone for several years now. Chameleon was one of the best in the US. I have had some spectacular times there. The owners opened a diner on the east side of the valley after their club got closed down. Even though some of the old club regulars show up there, it never turned into a pick up joint.
Somehow, Discretions & Encounters both survived in Phoenix. They are both much more low brow. I think that I know who put the screws to Chameleon, but I'm not 100% sure, so I'm not going to name names. The person that I think it was, got thrown out for being too drunk & rowdy, then went on a rampage in revenge. He was a hot rod builder with a lot of attitude. The last words that I remember from him were "you mess with the bull, you get the horns".
There are a few bars in town that host meet & greets for local Yahoo groups, but the crowds there tend to be a bit cliquish.
There is a low key party in Havisu that is very good, but it's hard to find & hard to get an invite. Havisu in general is a good place to pick up party girls if you have a boat on the lake.
Tucson has an upscale nudist resort that attracts a small amount of low key swingers. Tucson also has a honkey tonk Drink-em-up bar that is run by "god" & boasts a well equipped side room for people who are feeling frisky. Just ask "god" for the "full tour" & you will get an eyefull.
West of Phoenix, there are some mud baths & hot springs that occasionally see some playful action.

How did you get started? - - Well It Seems we all start somewhere so guess my story isn't that differant than alot of us.
I was 19 and in college at the time. One day I was in a local Video Shop and saw the Swingers magazines on the shelf. I thought to myself "what the heck, I'll try my luck!" Honestly, I felt it was all hype to get $6 from me. {they are $8 and $10 now by the way} With somewhat of a "i'll belive it when it happens" attitude I answered about 5 adds that where interesting to me and didnt say "no single men". Anyhow I wrote the letters put them all in a envolope with the $5 and stamps like the magazine asked and waited for a reply. It didn't take to long to get a responce from 4 of them but unfortunatly they all sent me a "no thank you" letter. About a week after that I finally got a reponse from the last couple I had written to. They had written asking me quite a few questions about me and what I liked and all that sort of thing to which I wrote them back a reply. {directly this time though} About 5 days latter I get a call from the man from the couple I had written to asking me if I would like to meet them over dinner sometime. We set up a meeting and it went very well. They where both attractive and in their 40's and we liked alot of the same kinds of things. Being new to all of this though I had assumed that something would happen right away if anything was going to. Wrong! I left that night thinking I was just not what they wanted after all or maybe they were uncomfortable with how much younger I was. The next day though I got a call from the man again asking me to meet with them again later that night at the same resturant, to which I ofcourse said "yes!" When I got there they weren't there yet and my first thought was "great stood up" about 5 or 10 minutes later though they showed up and we ate and talked some more. After dinner they told me they had been late because it had taken a bit longer that they planed to check into the motel they rented for us that night. You can say After that night I was hooked! we met many times after that, almost weekly for awhile. He would sit down in a chair JO and watch as she and I had sex most the time but sometimes he would come over to us and JO onto her while we did it too. For the frist few times we got together he would ask me after she and I where finished if I needed anything else. Being 19 and unworldly I always though he ment something to drink etc. On about our 5th meeting she told me in my ear while we were "together" that he was really wanting to know if he could "DO" anything for me when he asked that. That kinda floored me when she told me that but I got over it and actually kind of warmed up to the idea by the time she and I were through. So, when he asked me that time I ended up getting a Bj from him. We stayed together for along time {2 years almost} until I had to transfer to a bigger college. Swinger cruise - YOLO cruise on Carnival Legend (April 26th) - We've been in the lifestyle for about 3-3 1/2 years and I am wondering if most swingers are also nudists. I am curious because of this discussion about when/if nudity is allowed around the pool.
When BEACHWITHUS said the following, "implying that anytime you want to lounge poolside, you can do so, nude, which is what you'd expect from a lifestyle cruise" I wondered if this IS what people expect on a lifestyle cruise.
While we've gone to nudist resorts several times for lifestyle parties, and are comfortable being nude in that environment, we don't consider ourselves nudists.
I know that many nudists are quick to clarify that they are NOT swingers. Are there swingers who also feel they aren't nudists?
We've been on other lifestyle cruises that were not complete take-overs (since this is the first after all) and it was still a good time even though there were MANY more restrictions & limitations around the ship except for in the private lounge they provided where we could be skimpier, saucier, racier...awww, you get the idea. LOL Being free to be more open and dress sexier can make this cruise much more fun and exciting!
It seems from the message sent out clarifying the rules about nudity on the ship that we'll get to see lots of skin for all but 2 days while in port. So, will most of those cruising be nudists or will there be those swingers who aren't nudists? Will there be some who wear a bikini or just go topless or will the majority be nudists? I am asking because I am curious...I know that we are going to have SO much fun whether we are nude or not!!!
Vegas Jan 14-16 - Any sugestions on clubs or parties? - vegas can be a realy great experiance. just remember its not all about the strip.
the best way to experiance it is to get a rental car.to much to see walking, there are some great shows to see that are free. we saw mat king for just a two drink minamum, and you get to keep the glass. wish we had been swingers when we went out there. we stayed at the luxor and had a great time. had a very sexy blonde try to pick-up mr cpl in the pool. had to take him upstairs to remind him who he was with. enjoy your time out there.
