The feeling we've gotten from chatting privately with people here is that a good percentage of swingers in Utah are indeed LDS, whether active or inactive. Appears too a good number are former LDS members cutting loose. With no judgement or disrespect to the LDS reading this, I find it fascinating.

Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - I found this thread timely, as I just had my first "scare" with being found out by my snooping sister. Instead of typing in Myspace.com she decided to go to the history of our computer and came across Swingular. Curiousity won and she went there, where the opening page shouts "Swingers". She promptly came into the family room where the rest of the family was engaged in prebirthday celebrating and said "anything new?" staring right at me. I of course had NO clue what she meant, to which she proceeded to ask if we were swingers. The only thing that made everyone else in the room tune out is that she started ranting about how 'ever since she's moved she's out of the loop and all hell's broken loose... I sell sex toys, my brother drinks, my sister's stopped going to church (can I call her a self righteous bitch?) Probably good to note here that we all grew up Mormon and now four of the five kids have shaken off the brainwashing in adulthood... thankfully we all just ignored her and I made up some line about my girlfriend having me look up some guy she was dating and dropped it. Bikers and Babes Party Plans are final . - Sat Oct 14th Club Tastebuds in Orlando. - Hey guys great question. We will do cars in a pack and Bikes in a Pack all with the same route pre planned the week of . We would like to do it with some cool stops. Like an Adult Toy store and Maybe a Wing House or Hooters and or poss a nice Park. This way if some get separated from others it will not be long be for all are hooked up again. Can Take time to shoot the shit a bit and enjoy the social fun of it.
Then head Back to Tastebuds hotel The Heritage Inn Hang by the pool clean up Cars and Bikes for the Hot Car and Bike Contest. As long as we have the #s for the ride and the Contest we will do them.Need to get some partisapation for this type of event.
We deff will be doing the indoor Poker run and the Wet T Shirt Contest But we sure could use some of you guys mailing and posting up. As of Now 3 Cars are in and 8 Bikes. We plan to ride reguardless and hang by the pool if its just a small quaint group thats cool.
The Fun will realy get Kicked up that night.
We have worked hard on this event and enjoy trying to put on and host a party for Tastebuds from time to time. We hope those of you that have come in the past when we were involved with a party will enjoy this one and bring a few new faces with you.

Preconceived Ideas - - I Guess in the start of all this, or b4 we actually experienced anything in the lifestyle.....we may have had a preconception that it was all about sex, but have sensed realized that it is more for social gatherings of open minded friends. (not that sexual fun doesnt sometimes come of the open minded gathering......) We have a ton of fun at these gatherings, and now have some lifetime friends that we have a good time with no matter what we are doing. It isnt just about the sex like we first thought, and in the start we were kinda afraid that ppl who were more experienced would be pushy, or that our relationship would be disrespected, BUT that is SO far from how it actually is. There is a lot more respect given to a relationship at one of these gatherings then you can find at any other place on a saturday night, thats for sure! We would much rather hang out with swingers then anyone else....at any given time!!! Way fun people, respectful, and non judgemental.......a crowd that we perfer to hang out with!
