Anyone else getting sick of clubs - - I think a house party would be awesome....never been to one though. I keep moving so I have few friends. I come from Oklahoma "bible belt" so friends that understand and accept the lifestyle my husband and I desire are hard to find. Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Just my bit :)

There are a few select swingers clubs I dont like to attend because they think they are the *Beautiful People*, or they are very cliquish...
To me, a BAD or STUCKUP attitude is a bigger turn off than those who might not completely meet my standards in the looks department.
The second biggest turn off for me can be the first words out of someones mouth.

Friend collectors or swingers - - We love to meet new people! That said though......the way we tend to meet them is either at a Meet and Greet or at a house party. If they happen to send us a friend request, and it is someone we think we would like to get to know, we invite them to one of our own frequent house parties. Unfortunately, neither of those avenues are happening right now for us.
We have accepted a number of friend requests this year with hopes of inviting them to a small house party soon.....but not until we feel pretty confident it is safe for all involved. A fact I know some want to ignore, but we have personally known two friends in the lifestyle that didn't survive the virus. We don't want to know anymore.
So we wait a bit longer.

Swingers Dares - Text for cards in the game - Here is a twist you might like...when I was still living in Utah, a guy I know had the game JENGA that most of are familiar with. The fun part came in like this. He took the blocks and put numbers on about 1/2 of them (1,2,3,4....etc.). When the blocks were stacked for the start of the game, they made sure to stack them so that no one could see the numbers. Before the game started, everyone got a piece of paper with the numbers on it. Depending on the number of people playing, each person was assigned their share of the numbers. You would then write down a sexy or nasty dare or a sexy question, a different one for each number. All of the papers went into a pile and the game began.
As people pulled the blocks, if you got one with a number on it, someone would find that corresponding number on the papers and whoever pulled the block had to do whatever was written on the paper. The best part was that no one knew who wrote what dares. Gets pretty exciting.
Note: Ground rules that are appropriate for the group (if there are any) need to be laid out before people write down the dares so as to avoid any akward situations. The only one we came across was MM dares, but the FF ones were never a problem ;)
We now have our own set of blocks here in SD.
