A Place to Play - I have a new hot topic to discuss - What do you think about getting a group of Swingers together that enjoy the lifestyle and renting out a House where we can have weekend parties? It would only require 15 couples to share the cost of the Rental and maintain it. Just like a Timeshare, but less expensive. As we were looking around at the various swingers clubs in Las Vegas before our trip, the Couples Oasis was one of the ones that we considered, but we felt that $80 ($35 for the activation fee and $45 for the party) was a bit steep for one night (with the other things that we had planned for the weekend, one night was all we set aside for going to a swingers club). Maybe next time we will try something different and go to the Couples Oasis.
On a side note, as we were conversing with some of the locals about the various clubs, we were told that the upstairs area at the Red Rooster is generally only open on Fridays and Saturdays, which is what they told us there too, so keep that in mind too.
A quick question about Facebook groups - How do we find them? - There is a daybreak swingers group that was pretty fun...its died down lately though.
I forget who the admin is on it..hopefully he will see this post and give you some more info.
Swinging and the Mormon Church - - We know and have known many active Mormon swingers over the years and I think they pretty much have a personal "don't ask don't tell" policy. And, of course, they lie...to their Bish or whoever when asked if they're chaste and stuff. I'm fairly certain most religions pretty much frown on wife swapping and most other forms of sexual relations with someone other than your God approved spouse. So I think the bottom line for most people who espouse a religion would be denial or simply willful disregard of THAT particular religious doctrine. However, as FORMER Mormons (well raised that way, anyway) we do know that there is sort of a loophole that many may not be aware of so you can basically fuck other peeps (and do other naughty shit...short of murder) and still go to heaven...eventually. Check out D&C 132:26. Now the way I interpret that "scripture" I'm pretty much covered (even though I'm an atheist) and will still get to go to heaven and stuff if on the VERY slim chance I'm wrong and it isn't all bullshit. ;-)
