You might want to look deeper into what Utah is all about before you dive in. Just because you can see a few hundred swingers that appear to be cool, doesn't mean that the other 2.2 million Utahns are so accepting and fun.
Living in Utah has some very good benefits (aside from the abundance of swingers)- these include the mountains, the desert, the skiing/snowboarding, hiking, biking, boating, camping, etc. pretty much whatever you want to do here, it is available. We have four distinct seasons, which are nice, if you like hotter than hell summers and super cold winters.
The negative side to living in Utah is a little more hidden, and harder to explain. Simply put, if you don't fit in to the predominant culture (conservative, religious, Caucasian) you might not be happy here. Not that there aren't liberal, non-religious, non-white people here, but many locals look down on anyone who is 'different.'
Also with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, and with less jobs available than most places, it might be difficult to find work in Utah.
I hope I haven't pissed anyone off with my reply... Just trying to give Justin (and everyone else) a little bit of insight on what Utah is about

Coming to slc area this weekend - - We agree with SLCCOUPLE. The GSL has it all. Sun, fun, the BEACH. And it's true...you CAN just like float around in it. We used to think it was because it's so salty and shit but it's actually the brine shrimp lifting you up and trying to push you out of the water. They have to live there and don't want no stanky, skanky swingers floatin' around in their living rooms. I think those are pretty common ideas here. We take it a bit further in that we only keep people in our friends list if we have a rather immediate desire to meet up (next few weeks); with covid, that has kept our friends list very small.
why is it ! - - I think it's all or mostly about perspective, physical perspective. We get to see them having sex from a totally different angle. When we are involved we can't see the whole picture (or is that hole picture). We are also, caught up in the in the event as well. So when we see them in the throws of passion (since I'm such an illiterate schmuck, the word fucking would suffice) we have a different view and a different "perspective". If we are also, and at the sme time engaged with the guy's wife we may also get that little feeling of naughtiness added to the voyeuristic sense we experience. If we are truely swingers we have grown beyond the urge to pounce upon the other fellow since we conscienously, both husband and wife conscented and made the decission to have sex with others and placed jealousy in a trunk somewhere. So I really think it is a different perspective than we get when we have sex with them.
