One of the biggest hurdles we found when we first entered the lifestyle was people who were upset that, for whatever reason, we didn't want to fuck them. Their mindset was, "We're swingers and you're swingers so what's the problem? Let's fuck!" We did, eventually, come to the realization that in some instances our first impression, based on looks or whatever, could be overcome, in time, by getting to know people better and eventually finding a different kind of attractiveness that trumped simple physical attraction. We are all here for different reasons. Many of us have many differences. Tolerance is the key word. The forums are a medium or tool that is used to help us find commonalities or differences in each other. They help us find who we are most compatible with. To presume we will always get along with everyone we meet, is nuts. We all have our difference and they vary in different degrees. No we do not all come here to discuss only sexy all the time. We are not all mindless sheep that conform to one persons standard of what swinging should be. That's how we see it.
Let me ask you something directly. How are these forum posts, that you seem to be complaining about, effecting you directly? Is someone forcing you to read them? Are you being threatened? Are you being coerced? I am failing to see how you are being adversely affected by these forum posts. Please explain.

We are all prejudiced in one way or another. Racism, sexism, etc, etc are all forms of prejudice. If you say "Pit Bulls are a dangerous breed.", you are not guilty of racism. You are guilty of prejudice. However, prejudice against a breed of dog is seen as way more acceptable than a person, religion, etc, etc in the social setting. Few, if any will say much if I said that pit bulls, on the whole are a dangerous breed of dogs because we can see from the statistics that they tend to hurt more people than any other breed of dog. However, if I said that black people are a more dangerous breed of people because statistics show them to be more likely to be incarcerated than white people, look out. Why the difference? Prejudice against dogs is seen as more socially acceptable than prejudice against people. All we are doing is compartmentalizing the prejudice so we can make certain ones more acceptable than others. Is prejudice good? Well, ask the insurance companies. They categorize people based on many factors to be good or bad risks. Profiling is a form of prejudice. Whether it is acceptable or not depends on who you target it at.
