It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. Habits - - hey everyone... glad you all had fun... and your right! the meetngreets are as fun as you make them.. to clarify a previous comment... the meet n greets are not just couples night.. everyone is invited to attend, couples and singles (males and females) that could explain the single male that pointed out who the swingers were and was dead on.. he could have likely received the same evite as everyone else and or just comes often enough to spot some of us.. some of us are there quite regularly.. The club does have a reputation at this point... it is known that we likeminded people like to hang out there... they receive calls from curious people wanting to join in our fun.. the club employees have introduced us to people like this as they come in and some of them are now members of this site.. Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - We've heard that there are quite a few single men at Hedo...but the point to remember is that not all swingers go to Hedo. It's a place to be nude and many swingers are there. We've heard that even if you don't swing, it's the most relaxing vacation there could be. This is another reason we want to attend.....lots of watching others play too....hehehehe. I don't think we've ever heard anything bad about the place at all. KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Just watched the story on the news and was EXTREMELY relieved it wasn't aired on a Get Gephardt segment. LOL Yeah, so the lady in question said she decided to swing with her husband to save her marriage after she gained a lot of weight (guess swinging is easier than a diet or taking up jogging) and that they went to "orgies" all over Utah...naming several cities and "even Bountiful" (the story showed the Bountiful temple a few times during the piece- she said being a Mormon she felt very uncomfortable swinging in a home within view of the temple). She also claimed that she was at a house party and the hosts young kids walked in. She says she started drinking because going to parties she felt like she was in the 5th grade where you wouldn't be chosen for a team...her husband was chosen to play but she wasn't. She has to go to rehab for her drinking. Eventually she wanted to quit but her husband supposedly refused and started going out solo and gave her gonorrhea. They are now divorced. Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Queen, unfortunately your experience isn't so unique. There are a fair number of people who are curious about the lifestyle and in their haste for some experience, neglect to mention whatever hangups they might have. People fear that if they don't throw in the obligatory "we're fun, open minded, and drama free" statement in their profile they'll appeal to a more narrow range of couples and it will take longer to have a first experience. These people aren't always prepared for what's going to happen and I guess they just *hope* everything will work out okay - a very vulnerable state of mind. This is why there are a few questions I try to harp on numerous times before meeting a couple regardless of what their profile states: Are you D&D free, herps free, what are your boundaries, is kissing okay, etc, because most peoples' knee jerk response is going to be the answer that they know is "correct" but not necessarily true. The key is to ask multiple times, because some people aren't likely to be honest until they understand that you're working in their best interest. Still, there are some people who will deliberately lie no matter what; there's not much that can be done for them. :! Hopefully your first bad experience will be your last. Good luck!
