seniors - why is it so difficult to find senior swingers or single ladies? - Wow...I don't think Tequila Rose needs to jump on this one, as your "opinion" is very clear, and gosh...just right out there, ain't it?
However, we simply want to state that in our "opinion", your "opinion" is found to be completely lacking in tact, good intent, social grace, and was completely unkind.
If you felt such a necessity to answer with such...how can I put this..."honesty", then could you not have done it with at least more flair and less bluntness?
I am not going to get on my "we're all going to be there someday" soapbox, because that is stating the overtly obvious.
However, I certainly hope that by the time we get there, we don't run into many people either in or out of swinging, that would have such an utter lack of integrity and social etiquette to tell us that we are no longer considered viable and attractive members of society to at least someone.

Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - We are fortunate enough to live 20 miles east of New Orleans where there are lots of different avenues to try. There are several clubs including one of the nicest on premisis clubs in the nation, (Colette).
Even with all of the "Big City" opportunities, most of our contacts are made over the internet. We would have to agree that the net is the best invention since electricity.......!;)

Why do they run? - Why do most couples run when you suggest a real full swap? - Yes, some responses do seem to be a bit \"hostile\" as someone put it...(and I\'m sure mine is about to sound the same)...but maybe that is because they may have felt attakced by the originator saying they must be insecure. How about instead of judging the \"security\" of a couple by saying, \"they must be insecure if they don\'t want to do this...\" consider that there are as many ways to swing as there are swingers. Yes, some people develop their boundaries based on \"insecurities\", others simply because of what they like and desire. We just aren\'t in this to go off and play around with other people, this is something we share and enjoy together. If you are into that, that\'s fine, but don\'t judge others because they aren\'t.
real members? - - I have to disagree with you on your valadation process.. the ONLY thing that your photo or cam session proves is that it is a real person NOT a real swinger.
In order for someone to prove that they are a REAL swinger.... There has to be some kind of reference referral from other swingers.
Holding up a sign does NOT provide if they are swingers or not!!!
BTW.... the couple that started this forum topic are REAL!!! We have never played with them but we have seen them at several parties. They are as real as they come. :)

network swingers - - We had heard about this show briefly before. We think it will be very interesting but we wish they would have put it on HBO or Showtime, etc. It would probably make for a better over all experience. But yeah, that'd give me a bit of the creeps. If others read this, I'm sure they'll pipe in with some righteous opinions about how right you are and golly we all need to be proud of ourselves and such because of your statement/question, "I understand the whole fear of being stalked and the need for anonimity but are we that afraid? To answer the question/statement you articulate above, yes, some folks do need anonymity. There are those folks that have a license for their job issued by County or State governments. Obtaining that license is considered a privilege, just like a drivers' license. No, the government can't search you or do medical tests on you against your will -- unless you want to drive. Then you acquiesce to their demands because you want that license. No, the government can't fire someone for perceived violation of a "morality clause" found in a licensing application. They can, however, deny or publicly harass a person about a license. Without that license many folks lose their job. Not good.
So for some folks anonymity is not a matter of guilt or shame, but actually becomes a necessity to protect against a threat to their families livelihood. For me, I'm not paranoid or anything but I see absolutely no reason to expose myself unnecessarily. If someone I've met and actually KNOW approaches me away from the swinging scene, I'm totally fine with it, but an anonymous letter from someone I've never even met would bother me.
