I would like to point out one thing, when you are a single male you and you are straight and you want a couple then you bring nothing to table. You have nothing to offer the husband of the couple aside from a show but you are asking the man of the couple to share his wife with you with nothing more then a thank you in exchange,
in most cases single men have a gf or wife but simply do not want to risk sharing them because they are afraid of losing them, having them leave or know thats what you want to start doing or will be trying to do or they do not want to take the effort and risk and time to get their partner involved.
Maybe that is it. They are seen as takers but not givers. Also the acts of some of their kind is seen as rude and pushy. Say "No Single Males" in the profile but yet they cannot understand that. Maybe that is why they are all lumped into a bad group. No positives, for most people and a few negatives and you have a bad listing.
I don't think so. People have talked about the "risk" factor time and time again. However, what is to say that the partner won't run even if you don't "risk" them?

Hey all you "totally secure couples" - Just in case you got it wrong you have methods to recover your loss. - Other than the law suit this is pretty typical of couples who try to "fix" or "spice-up" their failing marriage by swinging. They somehow foolishly think that having sex with other people will magically repair all the self-inflicted damage they've done to their relationship over the years. What they find out is it just intensifies all of it. It just gives them one more thing to argue about.
I've read all the newspaper articles on this deal that I could find on Google News. This couple was already in divorce court and just didn't know it. They definitely were swinging to "fix" their screwed-up relationship. According to her, she didn't want to and he coerced and manipulated her into doing it. Of course this sounds great in court for her case. I think the truth is they both had one foot out the door and this was just the break they needed to get away from each other. "There must be 50 ways to leave your lover" type stuff.
Unfortunately, they only strengthened what most people already think about swingers. You never hear the good stories, just the "swinging destroyed my marriage" or "I had some friends that tried swinging and they're now divorced." You look into it further though, and you always find out that they were already emotionally divorced, just not legally.
Good riddance to this couple. They are truly boneheads.

Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - What could possibly a better car than a "Woodie". We have a 47 Pontiac Woodie wagon. Its a great car, fun to drive and yes we get a lot of jokes about having a woodie.
Has swinging changed? - - I've been trying to quantify the changes we're seeing but it's a little hard to pin down. For one thing, there seem to be quite a few people sticking their heads in and quickly retreating. Perhaps it's the ease of entry that allows "lookie Lous" to sort of check things out without really risking actually MEETING someone. LOL Another thing we've noticed is that there seem to be more people treating swinging as simply another way to hook up for NSA sex. I mean I know at it's core that's what swinging is but it's almost become a wham, bam, thank you ma'am culture rather than the sensuality of sharing your body with a caring generous lover. Foreplay almost seems to have become perfunctory (if it happens at all) and there's more of a "down and dirty by nine thirty" attitude than there used to be. It's almost a hit it and quit it or get in, get out, go home culture now. Many people just seem to be in such a hurry to fuck that they don't really want to take any time to get to know each other a little first. Maybe I'm seeing things but it just seems like it's changed a lot since we started swinging. I was talking to some people on another site and one guy postulated that the changes were due to the scene being so diluted by people with varied interests that there just aren't a lot of "pure" swingers anymore. Don't walk in the bicycle lanes. Some of the bicycle riders there are very aggressive about getting where they are going & if you are in their lane, some of them will not be shy about knocking you aside.
Do try to take a canal ride while you are there & try to take in some of the sights. There are some good little museums there as well. In fact, Schipol Airport has a little mini museum right inside it, along with a casino, hotel, good restaurants, clothing shops & everything else that most other airports don't have. That airport is almost like it's own little city.
One quick little travel tip that I figured out several years ago: If you get a stopover in Schipol that is less than 24 hours, it is considered a layover & not a separate travel leg, so you don't get charged extra. Since Schipol still has lockers that can be rented, it is possible to connect through there, drop your main luggage in a locker & catch a train downtown with just a small back pack for a day of sightseeing & other fun on your way to other European destinations.
