That particular video was made by a Colorado couple that, before they split, were on another swingsite that we're on. They actually produced a number of REALLY funny videos (most of which, sadly, aren't online anymore) and posted them on that website. As you might imagine he and I had similar personalities and talked at length a number of times online about all kinds of random funny stuff.
The Batman video was one I just stumbled on while surfing YouTube. Of course, I'm drawn to funny, facetious, and borderline offensive styles of comedy. I brought up the "cool factor" and image stuff in the context of what our own perceptions are of bike culture. I mentioned that we are cruiser types, not crotch-rocket people. I wear western style riding boots and a black leather jacket. But my jacket has armor inserts, all the modern upgrades, and even reflective piping on a traditional cruiser jacket frame. I wear a Bell military-style open face helmet and goggles. My wife rides a blacked out (Raven) 2011 Star Stryker. So we sort of blend the old w/the new a bit. I guess I'm hesitant about the style change.
