Why are single guys being band from all the upcoming parties? - Did some clown out there mess it up for all single males? - First off, let me introduce ourselves, My name is Dan and My darker half is Tasha, one hot chocolate martini :) We have yet to make it out to many parties, as a couple but did manage to do so the other night with tbl and had a blast. Great people, relaxed, no "you gotta go home with me because I showed up" complexes were evident. Having been on both sides of the fence, I actually wrote an article a few years ago called "being swingle", kind of ironic? no? lol. Playing as a single male comes down to at least for me at the time to enjoying threesomes, group, and the stress free situation of "dating". It was easier to hang out with couples who were friends, but in reality, the third wheel complex eventually sets in. There is an etiquette to it. Always add to the party, never look to "loot it", or "steal the cookie" as Tasha puts it. Kinda like showing up at your friends house when moms got food cooking, you know your gonna eat, but don't dare reach for the big piece of chicken lmao. There are REAL stamps on this site, earn em. Problem solved. As for how the rest of us that I know of feel about the whole thing? How to get started? - - We would recommend to find someone interesting to you, write and meet. We have found, and this is not scientific, but it is our experience, that if they do not want to meet for drinks or coffee after an email or two, they are not really interested but do not know how to say as such. This is not to say that you should meet and jump into the bed, but meeting is key. We have found very few people who are what their pics and profile say, us included, we hear many times, "Boy glad we took a chance, you should get better pics" and such. Those who post old pics are easily identified, they have the old hair styles, clothes, etc. As to single men, we have found that MOST of them are unreliable at best. Cruise - pricing - You guys are really bitching about paying $2000 for two people for a 7 day lifestyle takeover cruise? I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more. So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways. Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy. And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts. We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.
