We thought this was educational and should explain a lot about s - keep an open mind. Swingers are spiders. Each to their own unique ways! - Awesome!

Where are the Midwest Swingers? - - As a couple from Utah, there is quite a surprising amount of swingers here in the state. For whatever reason, which I can't explain, other than "we're just freakier here" there definately seems to be a higher concentration of Utah swingers on this site than some of the others. I guess the moral of the story is "come to Utah!" LOL Just Kidding, good luck finding midwestern swingers, I know they're out there. When you live in Utah, the kink just comes out I guess!

We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - hmmm DRAMA....wish someone would list the definition of DRAMA. Some might say that this is drama....airing dirty laundry on a public forum....others may think quarraling in public...anyhow it sounds like there may have been some miss-communication between possibly the four of you. Unless i have miss-read the replys it appears that the other couple have not responded to this post. i certainly would hate to see the members of this site become "JUDGE & JURY" without knowing both sides....especially if they do not want to discuss it for one reason or another. Queen, hope your experiences are pleasurable...that is what we all want, and let it be known that we are certainly not tryin to "stir the pot" simply tryin to keep un open mind....I know that WE ALL claim to be drama free...but we will be the first to admit that we are not perfect in our dealing with each other or with others.....ALL THE TIME!! this can be sometimes a interesting lifestyle... HAPPY NYE!!! Mr. Diver

Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - I whole-heartedly agree with your statement...as I mentioned earlier in the thread...I spent 20 years (and two wars) of my life defending the country and it's constitution...and the constitution guarantees everyone the right to say just about anything (short of perjury) they want... As much as I dislike what was said, I have spent my life defending his right to say it... This whole thing brings back a memory...many years ago (please excuse some of the "wording" as it's not meant to offend, it's simply exact quotes of others)... When I was a young Second Lieutenant, my unit was sent to do "riot control" for a large march by Hosea Williams and his group...as you can guess, the Klan, skinheads and other distasteful groups planned to (and did) show up to "counter protest"...my unit was scheduled to be deployed between the two groups... The night before, I was talking to my platoon...talking about the possibilities of the next morning when the march/protest...hoping that I might prepare them for the verbal abuse they were sure to endure, we talked about it and how to react...my platoon sergeant (who happened to be black) asked me "So sir...are you saying they might call me Nigger?" Of course, it was said tongue in cheek...he KNEW that is what we were talking about...knew it was going to happen...and simply put us all at ease by just saying it and getting it out in the open...his response was so true: "Sir, those are just words and I really feel sorry for those people who have so much anger and hate in them that their only outlet is such an ignorant display - if they were really capable of expressing themselves intelligently they wouldn't have to resort to that - when I remember that, I realize just how much I feel sorry for them...and it's hard to get mad at someone you pity" - plus, I'm a soldier and I have sworn to protect their right to call me a Nigger"... At that, everyone in the room laughed quite loudly...my platoon sergeant was quite the philosopher if you ask me... SO, Don Juan...free free to make all the comments you want...no matter how ignorant, angry or uninformed they may be...I will continue to defend your right to do so...if you ever come to realize just why you are allowed to say those things without fear of persecution, maybe you'll change your mind...

What about the lifestyle didn't meet your expectations? - Preconceptions and disappointment. - I thought it might be interesting to see what preconceived ideas people had about swinging that were completely different than what they actually found in the lifestyle. As an example, this isn't one of OUR preconceptions but we've run into SO many people (yes, usually guys...single AND coupled) who have the idea that basically anyone will fuck anyone in the lifestyle. We've encountered a large number of swingers over the years who seem to believe that the ONLY commonalities necessary for a swinging connection is the simple fact that we're all swingers. Any other factors are, apparently, moot. What things did YOU find in the lifestyle that didn't mesh with what you thought the lifestyle was all about? Did you think it would all be one big wild orgy? Or did you imagine that there were myriad unicorns ready, willing, and able to fuck you at the drop of a hat? [em]Emo_49[/em]

Wow What a Party - Black Light party success -
we had a nice time too but so many peeps and to many little groups so hard to mingle Kathy and Lyle
You get that everywhere ya go...hard to not have it happen...just got to be brave and wander from table to table..find someone you know and go from there...or come say hi to us anytime....but at least at 48 you know that everyone there on that side of the bar was there for the party...no guessing if they are swingers like at other venue's....I love that part about club 48...NO GUESSING!!...hehe....kisses

Is this one of your rules? What is it? is it fear? or something - Does everyone feel this way? - Phenyx, People/Swingers are all ages from 21 to 60+ and are l;ooking for many different things. Some look strictly for sex... others look for friends first some look for friends with benefits and some of the older couples are looking for one or two couples that are exclusive to each other and provide variety to their sex lives. Thes exclusive laisons are about variety and safe sex... I don't think that anyuone can make statements about anyone elses' preferences within the lifestyle... Just an observation...

Finding a balance - Swinging and Religion - -
http://www.libchrist.com/swing/happysafestudies.html someone asked about Christian swinging groups...we'll here ya go. I think the animosity in Utah about religion comes from one direct source in most cases (LDS Church).. but of course some of the Christian (fundamentalist...bible beating) crazies can drive one crazy as well. The reality is that I have not seen a man made religion yet that isn't focused on control of it's flock. My question is how much did Christ push the idea of a church and how much of it was his disciples and Paul later on in the bible. Cliffnotes, I actually think you make a good point...context is so important in reading ancient documents, and the bible would classify as one. To use 21st century definitions or perceptions is useless in understanding 60 AD Jerusalem. I do think that you make a good point regarding David and Solomon, but of course the counter to that is that the Lord gave them their wives and concubines (,,,,Joseph Smith and the Mormons think this way...) Personally I don't see why a GOD would only give a King many wives and not the common bloke out in the wheat field, and frankly I wouldn't put much stock in some Old Testament tale or atleast the justification for them having many wives. I'm sure God really didn't give them anymore then anyone else. As for swinging, my personal feeling is that if your intent is not to harm, be in physical, be it emotional, then go for it. But that can cover a wide range of possible situations. I think there are ethical issues that always need to be addressed if your going to last long in the lifestyle. #1 Don't break rules you and your significant other set up between one another, and always communicate. #2 If it isn't a gift to one another, then maybe you need to reevaluate why your doing it. #3 If your looking at it as an escape, then you maybe doing harm to your partner or another persons marriage. #4 If your single and looking for a long term mate, then don't covet some other persons spouse, no matter what they may say or do. If he/she is falling for you, then do the ethically thing and break it off. It just causes harm to everyone involved in those situations, and don't think for a minute that you won't suffer long term ramifications from that type of situation. I'd let the couple work it out or they leave on another before I'd get involved again with that person. #5 Safe Sex, not only for you but your partner and others as well. (Golden Rule) if these sound patronizing then I apologize, but personally this is the approach I've taken, and my wife as well. So far it's worked out well.
Good post! By Groups I am talking about the groups that will soon be available on this site. In another site there was a group called Christian Swingers, it was very interesting and educational. I seem to remember a LDS swingers group also. But that is a good website you posted.

Friend collectors or swingers - - Our post was not intended to offend anyone . Just because we chose to operate our account/profile differently then others does not make anyone more right or wrong. The purpose of our post was to try and develop some knowledge as to why some chose to operate differently. We understand that because our profile doesn’t show our faces, that means a friend request is necessary to determine attraction by exchanging pictures. We do this ourselves, all the time. But we also immediately delete accounts and typically inform those interested if we are not interested. It sounds like we are complaining but in reality we really aren’t. We just wanted to establish conversation and understanding. We have received a lot of friend request because of this post and we appreciate all of them but we are selective as well and we will not accept all of the request if we are not interested. I hope we continue to discuss this issue as we look forward to hearing other thoughts, ideas and suggestions.

Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? -
Who determines what morals are?
The golden rule is good but moral compasses are different therefore many feel as if they haven't been treated the way they would have liked to be by others. Murder is one of the only non-moral actions agreed upon by most societies... Sadly, it is usually determined by this quote from George Orwell... "Who controls the past, controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'"
