How did you get started? - - Oh boy... I get to tell this story a lot but it never gets dull... lol How we came to be.... First you have to understand how we met... I had been a widow for about 8 years, during which I began to get curious about ways to fulfill my own fantasies... being tied up, blindfolded and used by several diferrent people at one time just didn't sound very likely under normal dating circumstances. So, I began to surf the web for subjects relating to my desires and came across a few swinging sites... Instantly I became interested in learning more about swinging. I began getting lots of replies and quickly learned that THIS lifestyle was for me. after a few years I gave up because i was just too nervous to go out and meet these people alone. After a few years I was dating a normal guy and we were invited to a party together. At the party I was introduced to some friends of his (who were swingers, but I was not informed of this). They were very nice people and we became friends right away. The following weekend I threw a small dinner party at my house and invited them. The guy i was dating was not at this party due to his work schedule. The party eventually ended up in the hottub and soon we were all naked. Well, to make a long story short, they hit on me all night long! I kept brushing them off because the man I was dating was NOT into that sort of lifestyle. They took it very well and we remained good friends. A few weeks after my party, there was a party being thrown in the their honor at a local pub and we were invited to attend. We went to the party and had a great time. My date however, had to leave the party fairly early (another conflict with his job) and I decided to stay at the party for a while longer. That's when I noticed a VERY handsome but VERY young looking guy sitting across the room that seemed to be staring at me. He didn't look a day over 20 to me (a 10 year diference in our ages at least) so I began to wonder if my tag was sticking out or if I had frosting on my nose, or what! So I ran to the bathroom quickly to check. When I came back out my friends (the swinger couple) were standing next to my table WITH the handsome guy. I walked up and was quickly informed that this GORGEOUS man who had been staring at me was their son, Ryan. We were introduced and hit it off right away. We sat together all night long talking about everything. To make another long story short, within 2 weeks I had broken up with the guy i was dating and Ryan was moving in with me. 2 weeks after that we were engaged. After several months and a lot of great times we were out on the boat one weekend at a place called passage key. This is a place where 50-100 boats anchor in 3' of water and wander around from boat to boat all day partying. We were sitting in the cockpit eating our lunch when we noticed a couple wandering our way. They came up to the boat and introduced themselves and we began talking and hanging out with them. After several bloody marys we all ended up in our cabin playing! I had never mentioned ever being in the lifestyle to Ryan before because I didn't think he would like it! But that night on the boat went very well! We had a blast! We woke up the next morning and Ryan asked me "What the hell do you call what we just did???" It was so cute. I told him that's what they call swinging and he then told me that he thought his parents were into that... that's when i got to tell him the story about his parents and the spa party i had... we both had quite a laugh!! Since then we began placing ads online and going to a few clubs and have been having a great time... I am soooo glad I found him. Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Ummm 75 couples times 2 = 150 people and while thats not alot for a hotel party it still falls within the accurate statement of aproximately 200 I was there so this is how I saw the situatiuon; now I am not saying that the cuprits of this incident were the swingers attending the party but come on, your hosts should have made sure that no part of your party was visible to outside guests and some better discression could have been used by SOME of the party goers. Yes there was some flashing and gyrating here and there. And while I love a good party I am also a dad and wouldnt want my kids seeing that stuff either. Do any of you realize that if even one arrest was made swingers everywhere would look bad?. On the other hand the parents should have exercised better control over the children in their charge and the hotel should have either a refused the party or not booked the soccor team (the situation there to me was like having booked a klan rally and a black panthers reunion. not a good idea). PS according to a reporter friend of mine WKMG has procured from the hotel a copy of the security tapes of the events that went on in the ballroom and around the hotel that night with the possiblity of doing a story on the night as part of an expose (i know its allready been done to death) on swinging in central florida.

The Vent part II - Secrecy - I once heard it put *I dont grow potatos where I get my meat*, I prefer to say *I dont play in my own backyard*. I know... I'm just one of *those* single men. You know, it doesnt sound like you give your *vanilla* friends much credit. You assume *they* would not enjoy a local *off premise* swingers club. Have you ever sat your vanilla friends down and talk to them (feel them out so to speak), to see if they are looking for ways to *spice* up their relationship? I've taken many *vanilla* women to the local swinger clubs. Ok, so some wont go back, but others are like *wow, that was fun!! I'm not into swinging and swapping, but these people are great!* Here in the Dallas / Ft Worth area, the lifestyle is HOT and happening! There are at least 7 off premise clubs, and as many on premise clubs. Plus many swingers in the area prefer going to the *vanilla* clubs to pick up men, women, and other couples. In MHO, IF, and I say IF, you go to a swinger club hoping/looking/expecting to pick up someone, I feel you've gone for the wrong reason. Go to have fun, meet new people, network, and IF you find someone at the club you enjoy being with, then I'm sure *as they say here in Texas* ya'll are going to have some swapping fun.... And yes, I have been part of a couple, with a few different women. Why am I not still a couple with any of them? They seem to start really getting into the lifestyle, and then they realize they're having too much fun, and scare themselves out of it. Oh yeah, and I'm the asshole single male, the most unwanted animal in the lifestyle. lol

geting in LOVE while swinging - - Someone mentioned Polyamory. Poly people, at least in most communities, feel that swinging and poly are not compatible.. Fact is, why not? If you are open and honest about your poly leanings and totally honest with your mate and any relationships you may have... then why not poly as well. I know that several people in here and on other sites, swingers feel threatened if you are overtly open abut your feelings. If one truely loves and trusts their partner/SO/wives; husbands/girlfriends; bopyfriends and whatever other relationships that I may have missed, they should not be threatened. If you fall in love with someone that you have sex with.... you have 2 choices..... Tell that person and their spouse and your spouce and see where it goes or simply walk away with the thoughts and get on with your life. The 3rd option is not an option.... If one is poly...thier primary relationship/s take precedence. It is my belief that poly and swinging are not only compatable but that if love happens when one least expects it it has to be handled. Even the vanilla schmuck sees or talks to others and sometimes form closer relationships but don't wish that to affect their perfect marriage. How is that handled? Sometimes it simply cools down or sometimes it ends in a short or long term relationship with or without sex.
