Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - I always here about Hedo as the place to be for swingers and we have discussed going there too, but have heard some stories that there are mostly men there. Point in case I had 3 male friends go. Is there a certain time of year that is better for couples to go? I though we had heard something along those lines, there are certain weeks that are much better for couples that normal. Also....is there any place else that is good. I know that in some places in the USA there are clubs that are held in a large private residence and that is the only way they can exist in those cities. But police have a tendency to treat the whole thing like it is organized crime.
I know that we have members of the community that are cops and ex-cops and they should contact you privately and thus may be of some help or guidance. I do know of one case in Utah where all cars parked by the business were photographed by the cops and folks harassed and thus shut down and another where they simply ran the proprietor of a liberal magazine out of business.

How close is too close - - If you have problems in your marriage, swinging is not going to fix them. I think the excitment of swinging will, perhaps, camoflage them for a short time. But in the long run if there are problems the level of trust that is required to swing -- just will not be there.

Women with hall passes - Ever get with other couples - We've been known to do that but only if it's quid pro quo. Unfortunately there are quite a few people out there trying to game the system, claiming they're swingers when really all they want is another female to join them. real members? - - I have to disagree with you on your valadation process.. the ONLY thing that your photo or cam session proves is that it is a real person NOT a real swinger.
In order for someone to prove that they are a REAL swinger.... There has to be some kind of reference referral from other swingers.

We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Again, the intent of this post wasn't to obsess over this one bad time. It was to express our feelings and frustration. The advice everyone has shared with us is very helpful. We just want to avoid this kind of situation in the future. Realistically we do realize that we will come across this sort of thing again but atleast now we will be better prepared to deal with it. We will do things differently next time. Hopefully any simiular couples reading this will also choose not to contact us and the ones that are on our level will.
Messages - why don't people want to message back - 1. All the sites are crawling with fake couple profiles that are pic collectors or guys trying to cheat.
2. People here have the idea of dabbling but are not serious about it.
3. People have their ideal encounter in their head and are only looking for that exact situation.
4. People are simply lazy. They wanna push a button (like the FR one) and let you do all the work.
5. People totally content with swinging are already in an established party or meet group and have people come to them now. They are tons of fun, experienced swingers that know how to balance normal life and swinging life.
So we always tell newbs there is a huge learning curve to this lifestyle. No, it’s not the sex part, we all already do that, it’s the ability to sort through the mess and find connections. Living where you do makes it even harder. Try some other sites to see if they fit better. AFF usually has a good listing in your area. Try posting up something when you have free time and see what comes your way. Don’t jump at every friend request. Our experience over 4 years is the blind ones with no message lead no where.
