Too Young to be Taken Seriously? - - My husband and I are interesting in joining the lifestyle, starting slow. However I've noticed the majority of people here are older. We both are twenty, is this too young to be taken seriously in the lifestyle? Should we keep at it, or come back in 10-20 years. I do understand if people want their partners to be old enough to have an adult beverage with them. But perhaps it is the maturity level? Maturity level is different for everyone. There are twenty year olds who act years older than they are, and sixty year olds who act younger than we are. To each their own I guess. I'm not asking to have everyone be my friend right now. What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - We use this site mainly for forums seeing as most seem to be in the Utah area we have been there one time to ski and that's been our only time in Utah. Looking for Advice - Recently coming back into the LS - Hello!
So I just have a question.
We were in the LS about two years ago.. and since getting back into it, it seems like what we want is not as accepting ( or that we aren't actual swingers). We aren't a full swap couple and I feel like that hinders us from meeting new people and just getting out there.
While I enjoy watching my husband with other women, I have no desire to be with anyone other than my husband.
Is this weird? We have talked to a few couples who just question why were are in the LS at all. They have said that what we are looking for is a "tall order" or that "we aren't actual swingers" which I can understand to a point.. but isn't this site for people also looking to explore their sexuality in a safe place with no judgements?
I would love some feedback or advice if anyone else in a similar situation because at this point I don't feel welcome.

I guess that was the point. What does religion have to do with swinging? Are you not seeing how many of the flock or "birds of a feather" have strayed from the traditional path of christianity? A path that the christian bible forbids. It's perfectly understandable that your post would cause such a conversation to occur.
Don't get me wrong. I am in no way judging you. I am just saying that I can see how some would question your loyalty or dedication to a religion that strictly forbids adultry. I could give a fuck, because that is up to the individual and their deity or dogma. I don't think it is for anyone to judge, just as you should be comfortable with no one taking your dedication to the faith seriously.
The bottom line really is, do you care what others think? If not, why try and find commonality in "back sliders" amongst swingers? Do you need the comfort of others that are taking the same journey away or astray? I think those are the questions that peak when these types of threads are born. Again, I really could care less about the level of your faith. As I am in no way a religious person.
