We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly.

... Also worth noting... it's mostly catching on among the younger, "under 50s" crowd. The old-timers seem content to poo-poo any idea, concept, or trend that doesn't fit their definition of 'swinging'. Travel and first time - - I completely understand how she feels. And just for what it's worth, you two are at an age where a lot of couples head for divorce court anyway. There's no sense in driving in that direction if you don't have to. So, in my opinion, if you communicate really well, and are just looking for a little bedroom spice once in a while, going where you're unlikely to build a relationship isn't a bad idea.
