Imus Fired - The beginning of the end of Free Speech? - - ..................."we are squabbling over Sharpton and Jackson. Granted, I think the glorify things that are small. They are trying to make mountains out of mole hills.".................... You really coulda stopped typing right THERE. They DO try making mountains and in this case they REALLY succeeded. Would someone pulll--eeeezzze explain the point of fact away that if the phrase he used was SO horrible, SO despicable, SO outlandish, SO hurtfully-meant, SO otherworldly, Why OH WHY is it that it has been regurgitated to us 4,852,956,811 times in other media outlets....If he had come out and said the word "nigger" (derived originally from the Latin negro, which describes the COLOR black...not the human being....) noone in their right MIND would have republished it, but the "phrase that pays" in this case has actually become the punchline already. We all need to have the conversation that rages now as a result of this incident but not for the SAKE of the incident, rather for the sake of understanding. We also need to realize that we should not be quite this hypersensitive over words... and that is all this boils down to...language. Thank goodness that swingers are inherently open-minded...because the rest of the mainstream country sure falls short. ........."But, when the Rutgers girls were insulted, that gave the NCAA a position ".......... I sure would like to know how many of these women actually knew who the hell Don Imus was before they had this shoved in their faces as being an issue they should be hurt by.

BUSTED! Your Kids Found Out Your Swingers. Now What? - -
Our daughter figuered it because of the handle. Turns out she and her husband are in the lifestyle. We have been to a party with them. A little odd but funny. The other two kids proably know but don't say anything they just accept the fact we are who we are.
Hahaha...yes we can attest to the little bit of awkwardness at first with both the parents and the child with their spouse in attendance at our party...but it actually ended up being fun and pretty comical... Now our kids (girl 11 1/2 and 2 boys 13 1/2 and 16 1/2) are pretty smart...they know we chat online, my daughter even caught me with my top off...I told her I was showing someone my piercings...they know we have friends over so they have to go for a sleep over or that we have parties that they CAN NOT be around...my daughter asked me one day what "swingular" was cuz she saw the banner across my open lap top...I told her it was just a chat site we belong to and explained that's where we have met many of our new friends...I know she isn't stupid and will soon put 2 and 2 together but I also know if she has questions she will ask...we have tried to raise our children with a very open and accepting attitude...as far as the boys go...I think they might know but choose to not bring it up...I know they will one day when their ready, and we will answer all their questions honestly...we will give them the same honesty and respect that we expect from them....kisses...Naugh-Ty (and Lucky B)

swingtown - a new show on cbs - I watched it and I loved it too. I have an issue with them showing swingers as predatory and also the widespread drug use. However, like others said, drug use like that was rather prevalent at the time. Oh well, I am a fan and plan on watching or recording it every week.

cool karaoke clubs tonight??? - Where to go karaoke - Any one know some cool karaoke clubs for tonight. Any swingers hang out there?

An out of this world (or state) encounter - swinging parties -
We just moved here from California were we were part of a swingers group and kinda thought it was going to be the same out here. But we have found out there is huge differences out here lol. We are used to going to meet and greets at bars or motels and if you like someone you leave and play with them.the we are used to going to house partys which have been some of the best times of our life's lol. The house partys would have anywhere from 30 through 50 couples and there would be games and music and bring your own bottle share a bottle. They would have stripper poles and it would be a no pressure atmoshphere. The bold would end up naked and the others didn't have to if they choose not to. It was a great time there were private rooms and a couple big sex rooms were people can walk in and watch or they can ask to join. Was kind of looking forward to doing the same out here then found out the partys are nothing like that. We want to attend a meet and greet and meet new people and hang out. We are really good friends with the swinger group in bakersfield ca and they are opening a club and we are looking at getting a bigger house and they, suggested that we use there name for the swinger group and throw some house partys. like we used to go to. But I'm not sure that would work out here to well because people are a lot more private and from what we have heard from the couple couples we talked to people are to afraid to go to a big house party because there afraid of someone else seeing them there which we understand. But if we end up getting the house we qre looking at we will have a big enough place to host and we will have the same kind of setup and games that we had in bakersfield. Would there be anyone interested in going to a big house party only swingers and everyone have a good time in a no pressure environment? And sexy fun couple if you throw a party count us in we would love to go to an actuall party and meet new people and if you like someone you can actually play and have a good time and if you need assistance we can help also.
If respectful, single men are allowed I would love to attend a house party like you described. I used to belong to a group here in UT that would throw monthly parties at a local hotel that were run a like the house parties you are describing. There would be a large meeting room for everyone to meet and mingle with games and some light munchies. then there was always someone that would host the after party orgy in their room. Good Times were had by everyone who attended.

Now that you're one of them there fancy swingers... - - Maybe. If they're like Krispy Kreme and hot and fresh out of the fryer. But I specified day old donuts from like Smith's or Albertsons. Wait, Albertson's became Fresh Market right? And the paper said Dick's bought the Fresh Market in Bountiful. So does that mean they're going to call it Fresh Dicks?

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News -
There's little journalism here in Utah; it's about driving views whose numbers can be used for ad revenue. Titillation drives views. The curiosity gap ("You won't believe what happens next!") drives views. Informing is never considered necessary, only attracting views and/or clicks. There are hungry children in every county of this state but a salacious and sexxxay story is what they choose to put on the news? Useless entertainment masquerading as a higher purpose.
Thank you for using the word "Titillation" To add to my comment, Heidi, please only friend us if you paid for a membership, that would be true journalism, doing anything you can for a story. Also, I agree with Cheffette, please feed the children next. A middle class family with kids walking in on the nasty is wrong, but more wrong is starving children that don't have a meal for tomorrow. We as 'Merican's focus on what "titillates" us and we forget what is wrong with our cuntry. We focus on starving children in Africa, but not here at home. Let's focus on US for a change.
