Curious where did you meet? - - I meet James on match.com. We hit it off and he is the love of my life. We have been married for six years and recently started into the lifestyle. I was reading the paper at lunch one day and saw this article about skinny dipping at Caliente Spa and Resort. I called him at lunch and I jokingly asked him if he wanted to go and he was all excited about it. James could not stop talking about it when I got home from work. We looked up their website and some the comments stated they had a bad time because they allow some sexual activity in the pool. Apparently some people went to the resort during a swinger convention and we thought that was cool. We started to talk about if there were other swingers there and we both got excited about the possibilities. We went to Caliente and we got used to the idea of being naked in public. We found out we enjoyed it. We did not meet another couple at Caliente therefore we searched for swinger websites and here we are. We met a few nice couples here and enjoy the lifestyle. I guess I should be careful how I joke with my husband.

Lifestyle vacations - Best place for a lifestyle vacation? - We just went on our first lifestyle vacation to hedonism 2 in Jamaica. We went with a group called young swingers week (OP just meets the criteria) and it was amazing. The resort itself is fantastic, the staff is friendly, the entertainers are very good, and there's always plenty to do even if you decide not to interact with others. And, of course, there's always the other guests.
Contrary to the previous post, only half the resort requires nudity; the other half is clothing optional and the dining areas and front desk require some covering. If you're going in March I'd definitely suggest going swingers week if there's still spots available. They buy out the whole resort (minus a couple legacy rooms) and get to add an extra layer of events for the group. The hosts are amazing. Basically, there's a reason they get something like a 70 or 80% return rate year after year.
Desire vs hedonism - - I know there have been similar topics, but I couldn't find them in the forums. So starting a new thread. To the people that have been to both hedo and desire, which would u prefer? I thought secrets and excellence were swinger resorts too, but now I can't find any evidence to support that. Sorry you seem to be having problems but sometimes things just go with the territory. There may be a few times where someone may send a mail before completely reading a profile. We don't do it often but have had it happen a time or two and we are pretty sure we aren't the only ones who have made that mistake at least once.
Secondly, while your profile does state what you are looking for, please try and remember what type of site this is. While not completely uncommon, it is rare to find a couple "just looking to be social friends". Usually there is a desire to at least have some sort of "soft swing" , " girl on girl" etc.......
We don't see anything wrong with your reply to the other couple, there are times when a reply can lead to offense taken by the other couple no matter how well worded it may have been. No need to worry always, as it is impossible to please everyone everytime : ) Just do your best to be polite.
If you and your husband are not on the same level here, ie: one looking for more or less than the other, it might be a wonderful idea to take a step back, talk openly and honestly with one another and make sure you are both heading in the same direction before jumping in. If you truly love each other, it isn't worth losing a marraige over of course, and if either of you have any reservations regarding the other, this certainly wouldn't be the place to find those answers. Both sex's can be rowdy when alcohol and sex are involved. Are you talking about the aggressive instinctive behavior than men have? If so, there's a lot of guys there to put them in their place.
