Age differences - How do you handle it - We2, I can understand what you are saying. My first wife was 16 years older then I and my current wife is 6 years younger. First wife helped me to mature early and quickly and current wife keeps me young and on my toes. Seems like most everyone feels similar to us. Maybe the people having the conversation we were involved in should have said the younger swingers that were at the party they were referring to were not as mature instead of saying they are more into flirting and dirty dancing rather then playing.

I would just like tosay that I am a very easy going person and I have had women, and couples treat me like a dog, just because I am a single male. yet when I tsake a lady friend with me the same women and couples are very interested in becoming friends and maybe even playmates.{ here is the questions I present } 1. did my looks change? 2. did my personality change? 3. did I suddenly change as a person? 4. did my sense of humor change? the answer to all of those questions is NO I didn't do Any thing to change any thing, except bring a friend. Next question{ what if the friend I brought were a male? } the answer, I wouldn't even make it in the door! When I go to a club, whether it be straight or a swingers club I go to have a good time and enjoy myself. I am very easy going and if I'm on my days off I like to drink. The one thing I don't like is that I am denied(fine) and then the couple says they have had noone interested in meeting with them. That is a little hypocritical, there was interest in meeting, just they were not interested; don't lie about it be truthful, say(we are not interested) and also say(the inquiries we have had aren't to our likings or standards) in a lifestyle that is "taboo" or considered as deviant by regular standards, truthfulness is a must! we have to have boundaries,standards and goals to achieve anything, why would that change here? I ama very succcesful business man and like to have fun, I thought that is what this lifestyle was about; fun,experience,friends and of course sex. one has to coinside with the others. I guess I have expressed enough of my thoughts today, I will step aside for someone else to express their thoughts. I didn't write this out of anger or ignorance, I wrote it hoping it will make people think before they treat someone unfairly, and I hope that it gives someone a new insight, and just think as indefinate as things are in life, why should we live in fear. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Maybe the more appropriate question is "Why so much hate for single males in the swinger's world". One of the issues could be that they are seen as diners who bring nothing to the table. Yes, you might say there is something for the lady so all is good. However, the issue is "What do they bring to the table that the host wants?". If the husband is being left out, do you think he is going to be happy? Once or twice, maybe. If many times he will not be happy and she will not be either. Yes, some couples are looking for single males only because of some reason or other. Many are wanting it to be an all way experience. For us, the risk of the baggage outweighs the potential gains. Why? Because the few times we tried it, we had a bad time. So, what is our incentive to go ahead and try again and again? Well, you could say that there might be a bunch of good single guys just around the corner if we just tried again. Fair enough. However, since we both are not really interested in single men or single women, the gains would be slight, if any. For a couple that is not interested in a single male, what is their benefit? Probably little, if any. So, how would you go about enticing them? Probably going to be a hard sell. Little to gain and the potential for a problem. Add that to the fact that they see the single guy who is in abundance, brings nothing they care for and you have the nuisance factor. Now, with us, a couple could also be problems. However, we are more tempted to risk it because of the rewards it could bring. more importantly, the rewards it could bring THAT WE WANT. With the single male, the rewards would be something we don't really care for so the risk of a problem is a negative. I don't care for a BMW. I'm a Mercedes man. You might say that both are made in Germany and quality vehicles, etc, etc. However, I might be willing to pay $40K for a Mercedes while a BMW of the same value might be worth only $30K to me. Or if my dad had nothing but trouble with BMWs and when I was young, so did I, it might be worth $5K to me.
