At what point do you out yourselves to family and friends?? - - I completely agree with you on the fact about "IF" our son became a swinger oneday. We wouldn't care either way as long like you said he was making a responsible decision and not just going along with someone because he thought it sounded fun or he though hell mom and dad did it I can too. However I must say there are alot of ppl we know personally that would die if their children found out or indeed became swingers themselves,I am of the mind set ppll who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Christain Swingers? - - I think overall Religion has a poor track record when it comes to morallity. That is one of the reasons there are so many divisions in christianity. Often,when someone wants to justify their veiw on an issue they use religious interpitation to back it, some have even started new religions or branches of their previos religion to accomidate their position. Wars have been fought , people persecuted, tortured and put to death in the name of religion, and it still occurs on this very day. I remember a statement, said to be made by Jesus Christ: "He who has not sinned cast the first stone". I think the person about to be stoned was accused of adultry. One of his close followers and friends was a prostitute. He went to the temple to tell the holier than thou, they were missing the point, and if I recall he was said to have given his sermons in the streets, and roads to anyone who wanted to listen. Karl Marx (I do not believe in Communism) refered to religion as the "opium of the people". I think he may have been on to something. I had 12yrs of religious study in Catholic grade & high school and I think rather than brain washing me it opened my eyes up to the contradictions in religion. I think you have to step away from religion to be really objective, when looking at the morality of any issue. I feel a persons faith and beliefs are a personal and individual thing. Organized religion can often pollute your judgement, if you let it. If you can step away from it and look objectively at your choices in life, you may also find there is still room for you to step back in, and find a place for yourself in its boundries, also. I think like COTA has experienced, religion has let a lot of us down in one way or another. It is up to each of us to make up our own minds, when it comes to matters of faith and morality. Personally I don't think religion should cast stones.

Single Men Meeting Couples - Are Single Men Treated Un Fairly In The Lifestyle - Yeah, This subject has been beaten like a dead horse. It just comes down to a few simple things. 1. If single guys doesn't get invites, they feel rejected on sites like these. 2. It's couples choice. The couple have probably talked and decided what they are looking fore before posting an ad. 3. Get over it. Yes I know from personal experience that single men aren't always looked upon in this lifestyle in the brightest of light. You can thank those that don't respect the boundries of a couple for that. I have years of experience from going to swingers club in San Diego that did allow single men. I've witnessed the pushy single male, the "voltures" circling the carion. I would always tell the ones that would listne to me what it takes to play with a couple. 1. Be respectful. Respect the couples rules and wishes. 2. Be freindly, don't go up starting with " do you want to play". Introduce yourself, and spark a conversation about something completely off topic. 3. No is no. Don't pleade, or beg if a couple says no. Accept the answer, be polite and move on. Wow, it's just that simple to get respect from a couple, and maybe an invite to play.

ADMIN: Survey Says - Site Updates for Priority - This really could be a great site, especially for Utah Swingers. Utah is so unique compared to other states, especially when it comes to situations like swinging. There are not many sites that you can go to where Mormons (exmormons really) and non-mormons get each other. For those religion suppressed people to go to and talk with others that understand them and the culture they live in...but there does seem to be less traffic on this site even compared to a year ago.

Respect...Needed? or just forgotten. - - If we ever got rude replies like that, we just delete the mail, they arent worth our time. You have to have some common decency and repsect. A nice introduction with your name and an polite \'We\'d like to get together, how about we meet....\' will always gain more points. We don\'t get much mail anyway, so we havent had to encounter it that much. But those messages we have gotten out of the blue are usually more rude then polite. We find that the polite approach at the swingers club always wins us over and the single guys who just start touching, usually turn us off. Being cordial and you will get more :)
