And like I said, Ms. Evil and I are absolutely as guilty of this as the next guy.
My only point was that in almost THIRTY years of swinging we have, on more than one occasion, been surprised by our eventual connection with couples that we didn't really even give a second glance the first time we met them. Sometimes quality is a very fluid concept that, as humans, we aren't always great at judging.
And we agree 100% about quality over quantity. In fact, if you consider the actual number of couples that we've played with in almost three decades in the lifestyle you'd likely surmise that we were either extremely picky or just really lame swingers (Actually, that last one might be true. lol).
Bottom line, you absolutely should ONLY fuck people you want to fuck but maybe, just maybe, give a little thought to your criteria for choosing couples and think about which things on your checklist might actually end up not being all that important and prevent you from finding some really great people that might not check off every single box. FWB Anyone...??? - Seeking FWB - Couple to Date - ^ We hear you. A long time ago we reached out to the OP to just chat, not even sure we were interested beyond that. We were promptly informed were not a match. LOL. We just appreciate that the OP responded. We also think it’s great that they know what they want. Nothing wrong there. The challenge is this is a LS site...they are not “Swingers.” They state this in their profile. They seem to want an exclusive relationship with another couple. Like a quad in polyamory. They seem to want to separately date the other spouse and have this 4 way relationship. I’m sure they will find it but it will be WAY harder than finding 2 unicorns to come play with you at the same time. What they seem to want isn’t what most of us think of as a FWB...it’s more of a poly thing. We truly wish them the best of luck, but it’s going to be tough for them. They probably could explain this more clearly in their profile and avoid having to reject all the Swingers contacting them from their posts on a swinger site. 😂
Curious Question - - Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. From what Chris has told me is that there is not alot out there as far as "Big" cities that we are used too. SO... I was just curious as to why there are so many Swingers in the general Salt Lake City area. and don't get me wrong, there appear to be LOTS of exemptionally beautiful people out there, so its just a curious question for the uninitated. Single male in this lifestyle.. - I have questions for couples and single females. - Heya Josh. These are all extremely well thought out responses. Take them to heart. I'd also like to add that quite a few couples opt to have the man from a friendly, familiar, and secure couple fill the role of the second man from time to time. Most of the people here have healthy, loving, and established lives with someone they trust deeply. The less in-roads for unstable elements, the better.
Don't take it personally. When I was active as part of a couple screening all the single men was a chore. There is an unfortunately well-deserved stigma tied to single men in this scene. Many figure that swingers are an easy lay and end up simply being a nuisance, or worse, a creep or downright menace. Disrespect and deception abound. That's not a personal knock as I don't know ya.
Be smart. Be respectful. Don't fret if you're not a hot commodity. It's the nature of the scene.
Here's something Ive been curious about - - I think over the years we've pretty much seen and heard it all in regards to this subject and who is and isn't a "real" swinger. It kind of all boils down to semantics, doesn't it? Is it really that important to label it and each other? If swinging is a more of a mindset then yes, singles (male and female) are swingers too. I think, perhaps, that what some of the couples might be trying to get at (inelegantly IMO) is that in many ways perhaps singles don't really have as much invested in the process as couples do. As a swinging couple (remember it used to be called "wife swapping") you are in effect opening your relationship to some very real risk. If you don't think that's the case you either are in denial or haven't been around the scene that long. Singles simply aren't running the same risk although it could be argued they do have some risks, especially single females who at very least have some safety issues going into sometimes unknown situations alone. I guess you could argue single males also have a few risks as well. Also, of course, there is the whole argument of singles "not bringing anything to the table". An oft quoted argument to denote they don't have a partner to "swap". True enough in some regards but not entirely true in that they bring themselves and variety to the table for those couples not looking for a couples swap or who want to fulfill other fantasies or who have difficulty finding a fourway connection or attraction. Ultimately I think it's unnecessary for couples who don't want to play with singles (most often it's just single guys, a double standard perhaps?) to diss singles by saying they aren't swingers. And it's also probably not necessary for a few singles to complain that they aren't given an equal place at the table when they indeed do not come prepared to risk the same that couples must risk. Bottom line. Swing how you want to swing and don't swing how you don't want to swing. There's actually room for everyone even if we aren't all necessarily sitting at the same table.
Swingers Rock Club - Live music, Dancing, and Sexy Friends - The next party is June 3rd at 9:30 pm. This is a big place with plenty of tables and a large dance floor. It's an open party, so no need to RSVP. A country setting with a relaxed atmosphere. There is always strong sexual overtones on the dance-floor, and pulse pounding music to move your body. This place packs out everytime so come early to reserve a seat. You can get directions on Mapquest with "Tube Rd and Granville Rd" pasted in the intersection (16926 zipcode) Jeans and a t-shirt, shorts or a mini-skirt are fine here. So come to flirt and have fun. As always The Rock Club gives you a great low cost party $3 to get in and drink specials. Bambi (The Rock Club Queen)is celebrating her birthday as well.
