Unless you are serving alcohol you shouldn't need license of any kind. at the door, you have donations, not entry fees. The only place i know that did have an operating license was in San Diego, THAD's. The owner had to file suite against the city and county to get the councilman and law enforcement to stop harrasing him. The city finaly gave him a license as a "Sexual Encounters Club" but not allowed to serve alcohol. Anyone that brought alcohol had to put it in a fridge and could take out their own alcohol anytime they wanted, but the helpers couldn't serve the alcohol.

I think people react to how the situation around them makes them feel. For instance, I don't care how hot you are, if you are wearing a black business suit and their is a coffin anywhere near I'm not going to get turned on. But of all the couples seeking out there, what is the odds of running into such a couple? IOW, if you look at the whole game, is there a better chance of finding a couple that is seeking a couple, seeking a single female or seeking a single male?
Most of the couples we know say they are looking for couples or single females while a few might be ok with single males once in a while. Maybe it is a WI thing.

We only feel this is needed it they ask us if we want to get a room. At that time you just have to say something and it is never easy.
Do you make some sort of lame excuse and beat a hasty retreat hoping they will get the hint? Do you move on to another couple that you are attracted to and look annoyed when the first couple follows you around all night. Of course some people just won't take a hint or take "no" for an answer and for those you DO have to be blunt.
This is one method that does seem to work. It is easier if you do it early on in the timeline like the first 5 mins or less.
So what techniques do y'all use in situations like this? How do you be nice to others without necessarily encouraging them?
