Travel and first time - - Your comments make me wonder if you should be in this lifestyle at all. Controlling how close you get to someone is part of the territory. You solve that like any other problem by talking and making decisions togheter.
One time threesomes are as often a flop as they are a thumbs up encounter. A lot depends on what you are looking for along that line. If you have never had one you may not even know exactly what you are looking for. The two of you need to sit down and discuss what you want to have happen. For some it is just the size of the dick while the opposite end of the spectrum is some skill and the two of you working together to give her an earth shaking experience.

Weeding through the real/ fakes - I wish there was a "validation " on profiles.. - PolyCouple, I think you're pointing to a cultural gap that we've also been frustrated with for years. We fall more into the independently open category, which puts us closer to the poly-lite and kink communities than the swinger community. We've found that a lot of swingers have the men negotiate the process and that's a huge turn off for us so we end up considering it a red flag in terms of what we're looking for. Everyone has to respect the other person unless they do something that causes them not to deserve the respect of others, and at that point they should be told of their infraction. IF that does not seem to do any good in changing their attitude, then simply IGNORE them. Engaging in bickering and name calling just satisfies these types, and lowers you to their level.
YOULUVBIGBLKDICK, this is just my observation and is not directed at you personally: A great number of s. males do not belong in the lifestyle to my opinion. I know a lot of the women, enjoy playing with them, and some that understand what swinging is all about and know their place in the lifestyle are just fine.
