Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Being that we are in the older bracket, I would say that yes age can be a factor. It depends on the individuals involved, but many times people put upper limits on play partners and anyone over that age is a null factor. There are several women on this site over the age of 50 who may make some couples rethink their age limit or make an exception for them. Weare very active in the club scene here in NC and people know us and age doesn't seem to be much of a factor. Is anybody on this site for fucking real or just a bunch of tease - - It seems like there are basically two kinds of swingers. OK LETS BE HONEST - - We got into the lifestyle because my wife was bi but didn't want to admit it to herself. Raised Catholic and it would be a mortal sin?????? All she had to do was see a woman naked and she got totally wet... I was aware of this for years but she insisted not.. We started going to a club to the socials and she loosened up slowly. At some point one of the women took her to her room and they got it on.. Then she went with another women and got it on another time... I didn't care that I wasn't there because it was for her not for me anyway. So now we are in the lifestyle at her whim... It was never about me in the first place... The lifestyle has made her more open to herself and freer, more able to talk about sexual things. In the 9 or so years that we've been in the lifestyle I learned that while many times men get their wives into the lifestyle it is the wives that keep them in the lifestyle. Further, women completely control the lifestyle. It's kind of like the old expression; "If a man says he's boss at home, I wonder what else he lies about". The lifestyle is much like that. From discussions with other swingers I find that just a many wives get their husbands involved in the lifestyle as mwn do. I don't know about other places like UT or CO or TX but in NC, SC, VA, and many in FL the women rule the lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way. Not sure if you read much but there was a situation recently in Kansas City where a man and his wife were HIV Positive and managed to put a number of people at risk of contracting HIV, and these are supposedly "swingers" who know better. I've been to parties for over 4 years!! Not everyone uses condoms. Maybe you do! But even a condom isn't going to protect you against Herpes!! You always use latex with oral sex Toki.. hmm... probably not.. and guess what, you are putting yourself at risk for Herpes! Even if you get tested for Herpes you still are at risk. You could have contracted it on the weekend, go in on Monday get tested, the whole gamut of tests, get negatives on everything. Then two to three weeks later you come down with itchy bumps that turn into sores, oh shit, guess what.. yep.. you just were infected and are now positive for Herpes.. Why.. because you don't get it!!! The reason we need more people to talk about this is people are getting STD's on this site and others like it. I applaud Rob and his willingness to do what some of you may think is not needed. Toki is a prime example of why you don't play with just anyone! Sure you can't stop everything all the time, and frankly anytime you have sex with multiple partners it's a risk. But let's not be stupid folks, let's be careful. You only have this life to live, why fuck it up for yourself and the one you love because you are stupid? PS.. I wrote a long post a few months ago about our own experience with the STD issue. I received a number of posts about others who carry HSV2. Interesting thing is some of these people who have HSV2, DO NOT always tell their potential partners they have the disease. Why? PURE IGNORANCE or just they don't give a shit (which is worse). I want to make sure everyone knows, this is MR ABC who is writing this post.
