Facebook group - - I am an admin in a long-standing FB Swingers group for SouthEast Idaho and we're getting ready to close it down. It used to be there were privacy concerns where people who joined would risk exposing other members by sending friend requests to everybody but we were able to handle most of that by staying on top of things. Now, the FB rules and algorithm bots are going crazy. Posts from 2+ years ago are being randomly found and flagged. Posts from the admins are being flagged as well and we've been warned that if too many of these happen FB will shut the group down altogether. But this means two things; 1. the posts that make the page fun and free are all at risk of being auto flagged even though the group is private and 2. Even if a post is not flagged it's not truly private since the FB bots and possibly admins are scanning through everything that happens in every group. Really, the FB rule changes from 2 years ago make the group against their policy even by existing. The new rules read that a group cannot exist for the purpose of seeking or supporting the planning of any sexual activity.
Because of all this, our group has been migrating to MeWe and all official posts/events/polls are now hosted there. We'll also be deleting FB content that is likely to be flagged and closing down the group.
Why make it so HARD? - pic posting - Pics are a huge part of successfully meeting someone on ANY dating site. It has been proven that your chances are 80% greater. Everyone understands the need to be discrete for some people but there are things you can do to get around that. First, of all, you are on a swingers dating site and anyone else who is on here, is here for the same reason. The chance of someone stumbling onto this site and finding you is very, very slim. There are thousands of adult sites out there. Honestly, they would have to have some presumption of you being on here in the first place to even get close. With that said though, that chance can still worry some people but that is why we have private and custom photo albums. It allows you to pick and choose who you wish to view your photos. So unless you use your real names or a familiar username on your profile, there is no way anyone can relate your profile to your real person. As a second measure of protection, cut off the picture at your heads or blur out your faces. Then as you move along in your contact, send an attachment with just your faces.
There are plenty of ways you can protect yourself yet still allow someone to see your photos. But if you still believe that someone is going to catch you with those slim chances, then maybe your best bet is to not even create profiles on a dating site. Because without pics, you probably won't meet many people.

Too Young to be Taken Seriously? - - My husband and I are interesting in joining the lifestyle, starting slow. However I've noticed the majority of people here are older. We both are twenty, is this too young to be taken seriously in the lifestyle? Should we keep at it, or come back in 10-20 years. 12 years ago Kelly and I went to our first swingers party. I was nervous and it was made worse by seeing my mothers boyfirend there with his wife. No my mother did not know he was married. Am I going to go tell on this asshole..... no. He told on me!! My mother came alll the way into to Salt Lake (which she has only done 3 times in the 13 years I have lived in Salt Lake) to give me a rash of shit over it and explained that was the reason her and my dad got a divorce (I assume he wanted to do it and she didn't). She said the Kelly and I were going to end up the same way. I of course told her it was a one time thing and we didn't plan on ever going to another party. I know how very small this world is, and it is very small, I like to think that I have kept it secret enough that the only people who knew were fellow swingers and the ones I have elected to tell.
