How do you know we aren't creating fake profiles? You don't. You just have to take our word for it I guess. Being around for 10 years has it's privileges. For one, our member base is big enough that creating fake profiles doesn't do us any good. It would actually hurt us since nobody on the other end would be responding. Second, we are in the top 10 of all swinger related search results. We don't need to create fake profiles since we are getting tons of new members each day anyways. Just search for 'adult swingers' or 'swinger ads' on Google and see for yourself.
As for Who's Online, there is a 4 hour window from the last time you have any activity and then the system will delete you automatically. The way the internet works, there is just no true way to tell you are online without constantly hitting the server with requests which would end up slowing down the website for you and everyone else. So we keep you in the system just in case you are away from your computer and you still want people to know you are available. Thus the 4 hour window.
As for chat, if you see someone listed in the chatroom list before you open chat, it's because they probably logged out of chat but left the chat window open. However, I've learned quickly that because everyone responds differently, it is best to assume nothing and take nothing for granted and put on your thickest skin and expect drama. If nothing happens, and you make a connection with some one or both, then build from there and have fun. I have more fun when I go with no expectations and have them wildly exceeded, than to go full on and have the evening ruined through taking drama filled responses personal.
However, I don't think that because some people may have jealousies, that they have the right to treat people rudely. I think there are many who can work on this a bit more and realize that we are all in this to have some fun.
Orchard Place - Event info - Ryan and Kara are top-notch hosts and the venue is by far the best in Utah for swingers. It's the closest thing we have in Utah to a swingers club -- but it's better because it's clean, comfortable, low-pressure, the music is not loud (so you can actually chat and get to know other couples), and it feels a lot like a low-key meet & greet with a little bit of a charged sexual atmosphere.
The crowd trends towards the younger side (mid-40's and below) but there are a few older folks there.
WAY better than habits.... but we hate loud music and dancing... so... ;)

The number of people online before was total B.S... Basically, if you signed in, it "counted you" as being online for the next several days (even if you clicked the sign-out button). It looks like the admin has tweaked that number down a little to make it more accurate. =)
