A Place to Play - I have a new hot topic to discuss - What do you think about getting a group of Swingers together that enjoy the lifestyle and renting out a House where we can have weekend parties? It would only require 15 couples to share the cost of the Rental and maintain it. Just like a Timeshare, but less expensive. Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!

stop being so vanilla - - Most of our friends are in the lifestyle and those that are vanilla know about it. So when the vanilla men see an attractive girl, the suddenly return to infancy, drooling while hoping to see a glance of a boob and get to suck on it. Always pisses them off when they point out an attractive girl to me and I respond "ahh, I have better looking girlfriends then that." I have told them they are so vanilla and one guy thought it was a racial slur. Another told his brother what I say about being so vanilla and his brother told him it is a swingers term to refer to guys like you. After a bit of conversation the brothers learned the one I don`t know is in the lifestyle and the one I am friends with is very curious now.
Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Yes, many in the lifestyle are as judgmental as those outside. I am 15 pounds overweight but to some I am as broad ahat comess a battleship. What's more, after 34 years of marriage, 24 of which were in the lifestyle, my wife died. All of a sudden I was persona non grata at the club we attended because single males were not allowed. I had not changed, only my marital status. I have been pilloried and shunned because of being lumped with the FEW young single guys who don't have a clue. Now I have 3 strikes: I'm old, I'm slightly overweight, and single. I've learned these last 9 years that swingers are just as cruel, predjudiced and uncaring as other people. Recons 6th annual backyard bash! - - Just wanted to say a huge "thanks" to Recon for throwing another Phenomenal backyard party! Everything from The beds in the orchard, the tent, the lighting, the guests, the nudity, the food, the Taco Vendor from the corner of Sears on state...it was perfect! This was the best swingers party we have ever been to! We can't remember much after the second round of margarita's, but the hot, hot, hot people doing the "wiggle" on bed 3 in the orchard is etched in my mind ;) hahahaha!
