A couple of recent changes - last Thursday, the GMC truck got totaled in a wreck in front of our house. It was parked on the street at the time. And I just got a 2012 BMW 1 series coupe. So when I see them selling dvd sport follies or greatest moments in sports on tv one thing always comes to my mind. That would be watching the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team beat the Soviet Union for the gold medal. Finland was also a very strong team that year and we were not expected to win. It truley was a miracle on ice.
There are so many memorable moments in sports, so what is the one that comes to your mind first? Maybe an undefeated season, a career ending injury, Tom (who is this kid) Brady taking over for Drew Bledsoe and leading the Patriots to the super bowl.
