Any advice? - Recent birthday brings changes..... - So...having just recently turned 93 years of age, I have a few questions.
1. I enjoy the meet and greets but thinking it is going to be more and more difficult to find a "parking" spot for my walker when I'm out "break" dancing.

Early on, when looking into swinging, I visited another forum. A couple posted a picture of themselves with the caption, "We did it!" Their shirts were off and they were facing away from the camera. A few people posted that they didn't get it. The OP explained that they got upside down pineapples tattooed on their backs so other swingers would know they were in the lifestyle. No one knew what they were talking about. It was sad cause at first they joked that it was a well known sign, but person after person chimed in that they had never heard of it. Some people who had been in the lifestyle over ten years said they'd never heard of it.
After a while they stopped trying to convince people and then stopped responding.
It was pretty sad.

Has swinging changed? - - I've been trying to quantify the changes we're seeing but it's a little hard to pin down. For one thing, there seem to be quite a few people sticking their heads in and quickly retreating. Perhaps it's the ease of entry that allows "lookie Lous" to sort of check things out without really risking actually MEETING someone. LOL Another thing we've noticed is that there seem to be more people treating swinging as simply another way to hook up for NSA sex. I mean I know at it's core that's what swinging is but it's almost become a wham, bam, thank you ma'am culture rather than the sensuality of sharing your body with a caring generous lover. Foreplay almost seems to have become perfunctory (if it happens at all) and there's more of a "down and dirty by nine thirty" attitude than there used to be. It's almost a hit it and quit it or get in, get out, go home culture now. Many people just seem to be in such a hurry to fuck that they don't really want to take any time to get to know each other a little first. Maybe I'm seeing things but it just seems like it's changed a lot since we started swinging. I was talking to some people on another site and one guy postulated that the changes were due to the scene being so diluted by people with varied interests that there just aren't a lot of "pure" swingers anymore. New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - I am curious to know how many people in Utah would like to have a swingers club somewhere in the Salt Lake City area?

Original humans as swingers? - Provocative theories based on Bonobo sexual behavior - I think animals weren't/aren't monogamous with a few exceptions such as wolves, peregrine falcons, penguins, and dolphins if i'm remembering correctly. i don't think i'd call it the same concept as swinging, but the idea was for the dominant male to spread his genes around as much as possible. whereas the females would attempt to mate with multiple males as to get more assistance with upbringing as well as pass on her own genes. that's my theory anywho. may or may not be even close to the truth, but it makes sense to me.
