Yes, Couples Oasis keeps popping up in our search. Based on the description my concern is that it's more like the meet and greet style event that we find here in Utah. Not exactly the reason I would go to LV since we can find those here! :)

We are planning to make a cruise around the BVI's or Bahamas next year March/April. If we find enough couples we can charter a 10 passenger catamaran and have lots of fun together. Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - How you not really notice who they are. My significant other and myself are not swingers we are in a lifestyle. Not something that comes and goes with the weather. We live a lifestyle. We have been in the lifestyle for over ten years and have spent more than our fair share of time apart because of the Navy but even then we talk about our life together first then the lifestyle we enjoy. I think that all that are in the lifestyle are doing the same thing, looking for people with the same goals and ideals. We just have the ability to be closer than most.

I believe the only way that one could truely avoid the heavy hand of the morality police is being organized as a church or truely a private club which whould require some form of selection process of club members. Renting a location per event is likely the best way to avoid problems. However I know how hard it is just to setup a dance on a per event basis, an on-premise event would be much more work. The effort may be worth it, especially if you have a lot of people to help.
One way we made this work was a once a year event where we rented out a hotel during the off-season. The innkeeper was very comfortable with us being there and we were the only people that could get a room that week-end every year. We had the full use of the convention center and the swimming pool.
