Disabled Swingers - - We don't post in the forum often but we feel this is a good time. Me being the male half of the couple and the wife being in a chair have been through this at the beginning. Sure there are people out there that for some reason have a problem, but you will find more people that are open to the experience. We have met cuntrybumpkins at parties and they are great people. We have met alot of great people from swingular that look at her as a person and dont even notice the chair and for that there have been many memorable times. Majesticwolf also very cool Naughty and Lucky the list goes on and we hope not to ofend the others by not mentioning them. We have even met Rob several years back and he is also an awesome person. The point is don't be discouraged, keep on getting out to meet people. One thing she would like to see is for people to just come right out and ask, to her that is the most polite way to get to know her and find out what her limitations are. Which are very few. twobears
Age quesiton - Do swingers of the same age group swing together? - We try to meet everyone, we have met alot of people that are close to our age, some are awesome and we clicked with on more than one level and others not at all. When we first signed up we put noone over the age of 30, then it changed to 35, then 40, and now we have no preference. We have found though that most people older than us are more mature and settled. Not everyone of course and I'm not trying to be rude but that's just what we have noticed. We do not always play with everyone we meet just those that we all connect in some way and as long as it's what everyone wants. Some of the people we have met on here we have never played with but they are some of our best friends now and at the same time some people we have played with we havent spoken to since we played. Just depends with everyone I guess.

Who in the relationship initiated the idea of joining the lifest - And why? - I lost my virginity to my hubby, and had no other partners Before we married. We were fortunately able to befriend an older (25's) couple in college who were swingers. When I started having all the usual "what am I missing" emotions, he suggested that we pursue the lifestyle. Well polyamory is defined as having more then one love. Isn't that the same as saying friends with benefits. Well yes it is. True swinging is having sex just for the sake of having sex. No talking ...no getting to know each other...not caring one iota about the other person. Basically have sex and if the other person dies on the way home ...who give gives a shit!
Not us...not at all. To me this lifestyle is a scale ....true swinger on the one side and true polyamory on the other...We are closer to the poly side as opposed to the true swinger side. WHat is so wonderful about that side is we can have fun with other people even if no actual sex occurs. Sometimes its nice to just be able to go out with like minded folks.
Just wanted to let the people who feel the way we do understand that thier is others with the same thought process.

Honesty - parallels? - The topic of honesty (more accurately, lack thereof) has been prevalent in recent political posts - for good reason. Everyone would like to see more openness and honesty from the candidates.
That sounds similar to one of the most common complaints among swingers.
