Fly-fishing Swingers - New Swingular Group - Being a bass fisherman, I like the idea of having a fishing partner like the one who was holding the 2 bass or the one that was standing in the water with the spinning outfit. LOL A very wise swinging couple once told US that the way to be successful in swinging is to first get rid of you expectations (so you won't be disappointed) and then to approach each situation and couple looking FOR reasons to connect and play rather than looking for reasons not to. I'm not saying play with peeps you aren't attracted to or are not compatible with but far too often it seems swingers look for reasons WHY this or that couple isn't perfect and they end up being disappointed that they can't find anyone to play with. Our point originally was that perhaps these people aren't really as fake, as they are private. I think the scene here is actually still doing quite well! It's just changing. In our case, we're just not as "out there" anymore as we used to be....And kind of feel like maybe that's true for a lot of folks. And maybe it's our age...we are 10 years older now...and not exactly in high demand. That said...we just may have to do a bit of whale watching in Portland, someday.....
Is HABITS still the place to go? - - Habits:
Pros: Great music, food delish, cool/friendly staff.
Cons: Drinks pricey/watered down, music too loud, "dress code", popular hangout with self proclaimed elite swingers.
Club 48:
Pros: Drinks great, music at reasonable level, relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Food sucks, understaffed, sometimes music sucks too.
Northern Exposure:
Pros: Private room with private smoking area, some drinks good, music at reasonable level, music ok.
Cons: Some drinks pricey/watered down and they seem to run out of their "specials" quickly, food sucks too, staff really busy (altho they are friendly).
playtime - - I dont think you will have any trouble finding volunteers. The best place to find friends is Habits in south salt lake. on a friday or saturday there are typically 50 or more swingers there.
