Friend collectors or swingers - - We love to meet new people! That said though......the way we tend to meet them is either at a Meet and Greet or at a house party. If they happen to send us a friend request, and it is someone we think we would like to get to know, we invite them to one of our own frequent house parties. Unfortunately, neither of those avenues are happening right now for us.
We have accepted a number of friend requests this year with hopes of inviting them to a small house party soon.....but not until we feel pretty confident it is safe for all involved. TEMPTATIONS ( CANCUN ) - CRAZY PARTY AND FUN - We have been to Temptations and the OP is correct it’s a non stop party with all inclusive drinks and food. However no playroom and not too many swingers and topless optional only. There is a quiet pool for those who want to relax.
We have reservations for their sister resort Desire Maya Pearl in June. That resort is clothing optional, a playroom and I am sure a party atmosphere also based on previous experience with this group of resorts and cruises. It is also a couples only and while we are going with other swingers we hope to meet more swingers while we are there.
It’s all a matter of what your looking for.
How often do you think this happens - - In HIS opinion, it is a lot to do with the fact that MANY single men are WAY to agressive...Our experience has been that we have met 2 single men that were ACTUALLY swingers, the rest were simply looking for an easy piece of ass...Boy were they mistaken...
Sure, there is some insecurity, but that seems to be less than I initially thought...After reading many of Don's opinions on single men, I think that a lot of others are of the same thought...ALso...there is a lot of the men saying, "If she gets some, I get some" we have actually heard men say that before...We have also had men storm off because there wife was wanted and they were not....but thats a whole other ball of wax....

Comfort level of casual vs relationships? - - We are still fairly new to this whole lifestyle shindig; just under a year. Trying to figure what aspects we like, don’t like and are just meh. I’m curious though, when it comes to forming emotional connections with other people how open are you to the idea?
If it’s a scale of 1 - 10. One being completely casual, “what was your name again” sex and two being “I deeply love you and want you to come live with me and my other two wives” sort of deal... where do you fall?

For us we are discovering that we prefer the more connective experiences and don’t shy away from words like “love” or “relationship”. But we also love just super casual fun experiences. All of it entirely contingent on the people involved. So not quite true swingers but also not quite true poly.
Trying to see how common or uncommon that is.

Hollywood Swingers? - - Discretion is the name of the game. You could go through my trash for last 20 years and never find one scrap of paper showing my wife and I were swingers. My computer would be a different story. I guess a dedicated "hacker" could get into my computer but which one would he choose? Anyway, I say that if the Hollywood types want to play it is none of my business, unless of course for some reason they want to play with me.
