You can absolutely go to a resort and "watch". When we went to Hedo we were shocked at how many total newbies were there (outnumbered the seasoned swingers 2 to 1...but that could have been an anomaly for all we know). But we also saw more than a few inexperienced couples who caused some drama because they got there, got all hot and bothered, and weren't ready for the consequences (and weren't on the same page as far as the "what if's" of jumping into the lifestyle). YMMV
Swinging as solo Male part of a couple? - - This sucks and is good at the same time. I definitely understand the couples only thing, we were like that for a while and I have to admit I got real turned on watching the husband and my wife and also knowing that he is watching his wife and I. I think a lot of it is paranoia. I've lived in Utah 30+ years and have been on this site for over 6 years and others for longer than that. Never had any issues with the state, church or police. Hell I know police officers that are on here fucking away like the rest of us. AND it's funny how many people are church-goin, law-abiding, Mom and Dad types by day and naughty swingers by night.
My point was, you don't have to show your face in your public profile. Hence the name "Private" pics. No one can see those unless you ask to see them. Generally people strike up some sort of conversation and develop a level of trust before inviting them to see the full monty. Just a little common sense and good judgement will prevail in this lifestyle. Now, if you post one here..you have a bunch of people respond..most likely too many...some must be told no....hard for most of us to do. Consequently..hosts have become a bit more selective.. and send personal invites..rather than general announcements. Basically...house parties have moved underground. And hosts have become more selective about just inviting particulair age groups, or body types. That leaves many of us out. I know our email box is empty most of the time, unless it is us hosting the party.
Just my opinion of course..yours maybe different!
