All you are proving is that you, like most other are biased based upon your affiliations. Is that bad??? No. Just don't try and convince everyone that you are somehow better based upon your locale or political affiliation. We are all human. We shit, eat, sleep, hate, love, laugh and cry the same. Yes, a nieve person will think that a swingers club is not a sexually oriented business, but city leaders and members of the public will make a big push to ensure a swingers club fits within the ordinance definitions. The licensing process is very public and anyone involved in the licensing will have a lot of exposure. Licensing applications often require background checks, names, business site visits and walkthroughs, and ongoing mandatory surveys after the business opens. Publicity and continued legal battles with the state and city scare couples away. Research Plato’s a Short-lived swingers club in NYC that was briefly open. During its existence it was continually challenged, closed, reopened, raided, and ultimately put out of business. Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - i agree if the media changed the facts of the story, but i am sorry i don\'t agree with the post right above mine who was at the party and said that the kids were suppose to be in bed past midnight. I am 28 and male and if i was the 15 year old kid, i would have gotten a kick out of it, but i agree with him that it would be uncomfortable had i been with an 11 year old sister or with my parents...i mean i would have wanted to look but would have been embarrassed around the family...none of us should be telling paretns what time their kids should be going to bed on new years eve. when i was a kid, i would be out with my parents till 1 or 2 in the morning...i don\'t think we should be condoning the parents of those kids. I think the fault is completely at the hands of the hotel. they knew the swingers were going to be there, they shouldn\'t have had the soccer family there too, considering they had the party last year too and knew well in advance what was planned. I love swing parties, house nad clubs and otherwise, but i don\'t think we should blame parents for not having their kids in beds. the hotel should have warned the families...especially knowing that there would be a glass atrium that the swing party would be in...
