Where to go, what to do. - Non club activities - Is there any chance that a place could exist where swingers could go meet other swingers on a regular basis that isn't a club? We find clubs boring and loud. Half the meet and greets are just lifestyle club scenes. Mansion parties are great but they don't exist all the time and would be too expensive if they did. The people you are adding as friends have absolutely no choice in the matter. Some of them may have done the same to you in return, but adding someone to your friends list does not guarantee a meeting, or even correspondence does it? A lot of misguided people seem to think that the lack of replies indicates that the site is full of fakes! Come on now.
Here is the reality of swinging: Forgive MY bluntness, but since we were speaking frankly I thought that it would be good to hear another point of view.
1. There are assholes in every state. Be vigilant, be smart about with whom you share your personal information, and learn from your experiences. Pic collectors, cheaters, people trying to convince others that they are something that they are not...Just remember, those people are most likely horny 15 year old boys posing as others so that they can giggle and jerk off... men and women (thats right, and women too) posing as couples to get dates...the list goes on...
We lived in Lake Worth for several years, and I can tell you that there are as many low rent assholes there as there are here in MD. Thats swinging, so get over it. The sooner you do, the less it will irritate you.
2. People dont answer their e-mail. The lack of replies means that you havent made a connection with someone YET, or that they are not interested in you. Maybe they are busy and do not have the time to respond to all of their mail? Thats all. Yes we consider it rude to ignore someone, but trust me, you dont want to to hear back from some of them anyway. Consider it a blessing from whomever you worship and move on! A lot of people lack the basic social skills required to be polite to others, even by e-mail. Unfortunately, thats swinging too...on ANY website...so get over it. The sooner you do, the less it will irritate you.
Your profile says you joined on January 30, 2006. If this is accurate then it seems to me that you are fairly new here...if only a few months. Perhaps you should be more patient? Your profile is rather sparse too...give it some attention and let your personality come through in it so that others can better judge if they are truly interested in getting to know you.
People also read these forums quite a bit, even if they do not openly participate. The forums are an excellent way to make new friends, but it works both ways. Who wants to meet with someone who is complaining about "fakes" because they did not get a date? Isnt that just like the kid who doesnt get picked for kickball taking his big red ball and going home? It just seems to me that FIRST you should do everything in your power to seem appealing and approachable before you pass judgement about the intentions of others.
None of this was meant to offend you, and if I did, then for that I apologize. It just seems to me that your time could be spent more constructively if you intend to meet people that you can see socially on this site.

How did you start the lifestyle? - - Mine started before his did. I for some reason have a vibe girls like. Even though I was straight at the time girls just liked me for some odd reason to me. My first girl is Morgan and I met her at a club one day when dancing. She instantly wanted my friendship soooo I thought but as the friendship rolled on she would tell me she loved girls. Now know that Morgan was also married to a man at the time and has 3 kids like I do. So when i met Josh she somewhat loved that we were three. She soon left her husband and dated another guy. Who thought Morgan liked my husband and its always been thta she liked me. So they broke up and she moved in with us. Mormons - - We have met a lot of ex mormons on this site that are a blast to party with. Based on what we know of the LDS church it is very restrictive on most matters involving pleasures outside of the teachings of the church.

HIV and HSV are the two nasties that should be of most concern for most swingers as they are incurable and HIV can be deadly. Both are costly in terms of lifelong medications but also in quality of life. They will be with you FOREVER!
HSV can pass by something as simple as a kiss and or oral.
Do clean test results mean something? YEs and No! Mathematically speaking the risk is related to a pyramid factorial equation. Meaning, for each new partner you have that is untested you are basically adding in the risk of not just that one person (Primary) but all the persons they have been with (secondary) and all the partners that those secondary people have been with etc etc.. HIV has been know to take up to 6 months of lag time from exposure to when it shows up on a test but 90 days is normally considered the standard waiting period. So any primary partner you play with who has been with someone in the past 90 days before they were tested still could have given HIV to you.
Granted HIV is rare. But HSV is not!
HSV cant take 2-3 weeks to show up on test results.
70-80% of the population will test pos for HSV as there are many folks who have the mouth cold sore HSV 1. To keep it simple sometimes in the testing HSV 1 really shows up as HSV2.. SO sometimes this means if you do test positive for HSV 2 it is really only HSV1. This is one reason Planned Parenthood will try to talk you out of this 160$ test
One more thing to add. Most people still think as long as they dont have an open HSV 2 genital herpes outbreak they are good to go. This has been found to not be true. There is a relatively new phenomenon recognized in the scientific community called Viral shedding.

Another worry that is rare but possible and I know of a recent case where a person gave someone Oral herpes HSV1 to the genital area of another person.
There is also Chlamydia that everyone almost laughs off because a single dose of meds will cure it! The sad thing is if you got CHLAM you could have got HSV or HIV also as they run together. TO explain this if your had a partner that gave you Chlamydia they could have just as eaisly have given you some other things.
SO what is the safest thing to do. No play with anyone other than your main partner.
But if that is not what you wish then:
The safest thing would be for both Prospective couples to stay monogamous for 90 days and then get tested.
