Cruise - pricing - You guys are really bitching about paying $2000 for two people for a 7 day lifestyle takeover cruise? I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more. So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways. Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy. And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts. We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.

Parties - Venting - I think part of the problem is that the games ppl play ALWAYS have prizes and the prizes are getting bigger and bigger and they want to make sure EVERYONE that plays gets one. Of course they don't want anyone to feel left out sooo... Buy a bag of popscicles and say yeah everyone get creative with the person on your left (for instance) popscicles are cheap and if you make everyone in the game shuffle before you start the game then hell... You just met new people and sucked on something together, lol. Just trying to say get creative with inexpensive things... Decorations, prizes, games... NONE OF US ARE SWINGERS BECAUSE WE LIKE TO FIT IN WITH NORMAL PEOPLE RIGHT? This Saturday should be a great party. Idk cause we've never been but, Tif and Doug aren't buying everything for everybody. Bring your own meat (hell John and I each like different meat anyways) and everyone bring a side for Potluck kind of thing. Anyone who can bring a gift to give as many prizes out as they have gifts that are donated. Don't get me wrong I'm sure this party isn't FREE for them to throw but, the more people throw in the things that they just have generally laying around with them it's sure as hell got to cut the price of throwing the party back for them. It's not like all the prizes are all going to be cheap or anything either. (Idk what all the prizes are but just John and I are donating some AVON gift baskets $20-$150 values but, I sale it, it's discounted for me and I LOVE wrapping them so hell I'm giving something away so I can keep my stock current and Never let my product go bad, that's something that anyone who sales anything should be doing and, hell it's getting close to the end of the year so I get to give something away it makes people happy and I a few months its all a tax write off for me! How can you go wrong?). I can't think of ANYTHING wrong with it and my husband and I get to watch and participate in a wet t-shirt contest. Maybe those throwing the Hallowen parties should give prizes only to the people that come in costumes that were recycled, reused,given, loaned, homemade or made out of things they had in their house and NOT give prizes to ANY of the costumes that were purchased or that ANY money. That's the kind of party that's funnest to go to, when someone had to get creative about what to use and find a way to make it ALL free for everyone. Besides if you didn't spend $500 bucks to get your costume you won cry so much about weather you did or didn't win a damn prize. WE ARE ALL ADULTS RIGHT??? We don't ALL cry if we don't get what we want hopefully. There would probably be more parties for more people (not just people who that they know) we'd ALL have more fun if different people could come that just DONT now because of the cost we would all have more people to FUc|< if that changed. Everyone just ask Tif what they're doing to keep this BBQ as pay for your own meat and have some FUN!!! This one will hopefully be AWESOME!!!

Swinging is absolutely NOT about simply swapping. DON JUAN was absoltely correct. The women are NOT commodities to be traded amongst the men in the clubs and at the parties, but many of you devalue yourselves by assuming that submissive role. Swinging is about choice. Thats is why the term "lifestyle" was coined in the early 80's; it's a way of life. If a single man is not to be considered a "real" swinger, then single women should not be considered "real" swingers either. What more does a single woman have to bring to the table than a single man? Do you think that these women do not represent the same set of issues that the men do? The clubs, the parties, the events...these activities are driven by the WOMEN who particpate. The clubs will allow single women in for next to nothing for a couple of good reasons. The first of which is obvios; without a room full of hot women dressed in almost nothing, you would have a room full of nt so hot men, all standing around waiting for the woen to arrive. It would be like a middle school dance. Or a gay club full of str8 men. The second reason is even more simple. They attract MEN who spend MONEY. Single MEN and married MEN alike. The lifestyle is financed by MEN. MEN who are willing to pay TOP dollar for the chance to meet with couples in the club. And let's face it, the guys who can afford to go on a regular basis are really the ones (if you are interested in single men anyway) that you would want to meet with, unlike a towel shark from the local adult arcade. MEN who accompany their wives to the club to meet with other couples for the evening. These married men often spend (on average) $200 to $300 in a single night. WOMEN are the EYE CANDY that keeps the party going. MEN do not want to go to a party that is full of other MEN, but they want to see EYE CANDY. So they are willing to pay to do it. Mrs. Luvbugs! is a bartender, and a good one at that. She makes more part time than most degreed professionals (including me! humph!) do working full time. Why? She is very attractive. She is outgoing. She knows her stuff. She understands that SEX SELLS, and that her clients are there to see HER as much as drink a jack and coke. I have seen men sit at her bar, stare at her all night, run up a $100 tab, and leave her $30. Thats average...do that 20 to 30 times a night and what do you get? All for the privelege of being served by HER. I wouldnt do it, even if I were single. But then, I dont have to either, so who knows? THEY constitute the LION SHARE of her business, and her livelyhood. The lifestyle is not different. We need these guys at the clubs. We need them to pay for memberships on our websites.
