Divorce rates - How do we compare - We are a bit of an older couple with a different prospective. Amoung our swinging friends and aquaintances if we were to generalize it is that they are on a second marriage, have been married for 10 years or so and are very happy. Amoung our non-swinging friends they are on their first second, or third marriage and are generally unhappy. I would put the divorce rate amoung the non-swingers at more than double that of the swingers over a 10 year period.

Where are the Midwest Swingers? - - I agree. It is almost impossible to find anyone from Illinois or Missouri in the chat rooms, let alone anyone that wants to chat with a single male. Everyday I go into the chat hoping that there is someone local to chat with, and come up empty. I do value the chats that I have with other members from the western and southern states, but it is so hard to find a topic to talk about in detail besides sports, the weather, or the economy. Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - We used to go to the occasional lifestyle takeover/trip and would invariably be issued a wristband upon arrival so that we could get into events at the hotel or resort. It usually took about half a day for word to leak out, first among hotel employees and then later the general public, that swingers were around the area and that they could be identified by their wristbands. I guarantee if the black ring thing took off that very soon there would be multiple internet stories as well as likely regular news outlets that "swingers" wear black rings on their right hands and there goes any anonymity. The VAST majority of swingers would then not dare wear the accessory for fear of being seen/identified in public as a swinger. MUCH easier to just attend private swinging events where you have a reasonable assurance that all or most in attendance are indeed swingers rather than spend a lot of time cruising the bars or whatever looking for people wearing black rings. Swinging should not have any bearing on these things. In fact, if more swingers treated each other in this way, we would not see threads titled, "Rude or disprespectful people." or "Interracial swinging" etc etc. I agree with the person who said that you can be a good "christian" and also be a swinger.
Its all about the way you conduct yourself. Its all about moderation and balance. You can drink but you shouldnt drink to excess. You can have fun, but not at the expense of others. I think that it should be a no brainer for all of us.
But it is harder for some than others. LoL.
