The only problem is that in swinging no matter how much you vet a person or couple there is always, unfortunately, the potential for drama...or worse. When you mix potent emotions with often late hours and a little alcohol, even a normally cool, rational, fun person can turn into swingerzilla. I like the concept of your idea but putting it into practice would be, imho, hit and miss at best.
We knew a couple a number of years ago that were REALLY cool, fun people...very mellow. One night before a party they got into an argument over some silly thing and carried that negative energy with them to the party. The alcohol started flowing and the guy had a couple of drinks too many and flipped out (these were seasoned swingers btw, not noobs) when his wife started kissing and groping another guy at the party.

Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - We prefer Mexico over Jamaica. You get more for your dollar in Mexico. Hedo is so commercialized nowadays that in our opinion isn't any fun and whoever pointed out that Hedo isn't a lifestyle resort is correct. It is a clothing optional resort that has become popular with lifestylers that is all. I think that the only way to ensure that you will meet other like minded people would only go if you know of a resort takeover or you take some lifestyle buddies with you. Otherwise you will run into people that are just mostly into the nudist thing. The only time that we would even consider Hedo is if there was a lifestyle group doing a take over or at least a partial takeover. There really aren't any resort other than one that I can think of in Mexico that strictly caters to the lifestyle and personally we don't endorse that resort at this time due to a lot of issues they need to rectify. Why are people not answering? - - I agree totally. The most aggravating are those who send an email expressing interest, you reply courteously and never hear from them again. Might as well reply to their email with " Take a long walk on a short pier", or "Kiss my ass" for all the good it does. And those who do it know who they are...even more disgusting are those who do answer emails, schedule a meet and then disappear, never to be seen or heard from again....or they do schedule a meeting and never show up....(how many cups of coffee is a realistic amount of time to wait? ) then you realize you have been "had again". STD testing and physicians - who and where - The Utah Aids Foundation in Sugarhouse does walk in testing Mondays and Thursdays. They test for HIV (rapid results, you get them before you leave the clinic), and chlamydia and gonorrhea for free. The chlamydia/gonorrhea are just urine for the free tests, and since they are localized infections, paying for the self collect oral/anal tests are worth it as well ($25/each), as people frequently have those without realizing and while testing clean with their urine tests. My one complaint with there is that they take a while to get results (about a week) and I felt a little talked down to when they pull you into a room to talk about safe sex and using condoms; however, that is a small price to pay for the service you are getting.
While, as swingers, those are the two big ones to worry about, it is worth also going to your family physician to get tested for a full panel every few months (I do every 6/8 months for the full panel), since they aren't as common but can still affect people.
If you need something quickly and want to avoid paying too much, the best experience I have had is actually at the Salt Lake County Health Department near downtown (http://slco.org/health/std-clinic/testing-treatment/). They charge per test, and they are the least judgmental and most sex-positive place I've found. The only downside is that they don't take insurance, so it doesn't count against your deductible, and getting an appointment can be hard, but they do take walk ins.
Safe sex is fun sex, team! Let's all slut it up like crazy but keep it safe. We all have an obligation to police ourselves, and if something happens, take care of that shit!
