Observations from the other side of the room - Some unsolicited advice -
All good advice. You should give seminars to the GAZILLIONS of single males who think female swingers are nymphomaniac, wanton sluts who will fuck anyone, any time, anywhere and that their husbands/partners are pathetic, impotent cucks who don't know how to please their partners and need a "real" man to satisfy their wives/girlfriends. You could make BANK teaching the utterly clueless how to act like a gentleman and do a service to the lifestyle by helping to weed out the twatwaffles who have no business even ATTEMPTING to enter a lifestyle they know nothing about and should leave immediately!
That's a really good idea! I am no authority but I agree that Utah guys have a bad reputation. I have heard similar stories from friends on vanilla dating sites where the guy just wants a one night stand. I am glad that my post was read and responded to. I agree that my comments are common sense as well. Unfortunately, common sense isn't all that common. Any suggestions on what to name my seminar?

Can a Hotwife also be a Unicorn? - - Well, I met a woman whose husband doesn’t mind that she plays with me and has a naughty GF. She has a hall pass to play with just me or both of us. They really aren’t swingers, so I guess she’s a hotwife of sorts, and for us she’s a Unicorn 🦄

Swingers Rock Club - Live music, Dancing, and Sexy Friends - Well it may not be quite as bad as you think Rocker and Denim... We for one are rockers and we know many other lifestyle couples that made it to the earthday birthday concert in O-town a week or so ago along with us. Hell, there are even a few lifestyle couples that have their own bands and have held concerts together here on the space coast. So don't feel left out on a limb. "Take Hold of the Flame"... What group did that title come from? A hint: They will be at the HOB 8/25 & 8/26. Fixious

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

Gun haters...gun lovers....How do you interpret......? - - First off I DONOT see the word sanctity in the amendment. You can't just add words to try and justify your side. Secondly our cicil rights are spell out in the amendments hence being call bill of rights. So I ask again which amendment gives people the right to wed. As an aside though Don let's look at gay marriage another way. Let's say that by chance you decide to join a swingers website and state you do not want single men writing you. Now let's say that the two gay guys that got married are really only bi and they are on the same site. Is it ok for them to contact you? You don't need to answer as it is just a rhetorical question.

Any Swingers out there? Golf swingers that is... - -
My wife and I like to enjoy a round or two on occasion, but not with the current weather.. I really am getting annoyed by this weather.
Have you two played Sleepy Ridge in Orem? I love that course!

Looking to establish a group of safe swingers - - We are in if that is what it takes to get back together with you, (UTHOTCPLEXTREME). We love the idea and hope it comes together.

Birds of a Feather - Finding couples that share similar interests - Don, I'm with you on this issue except I've always wondered why, at parties and in hotel rooms and hospitality suites at swingers social events why one hears; "OH God" comming from so many people. Do they know something we don't? Is there really a God and we just don't get it? Oh well WTF I just thought that it was funny that we, so often, hear "Oh, God" at these events..... The above was done strictly tongue in cheek... It may have factual data and or dialog but is strictly for entertainment and the content was intended strictly for humor. The statements herein contained are not meant to represent any event either fictional or factual.

Bi-Sexual - lifestyle questions - Announcement! Ms Evil and I think that the United States should immediately unilaterally suspend any and all swinging activities until we can figure out what the hell is going on! I mean with all this supposedly "accidental" penetration of various orifices and stuff. And we should also have a database of swingers, track their movements and have surveillance against where they meet (swing clubs, happy hour meet 'n greets, hoochie koochie bars). Until we take these steps American swingers just aren't safe. Oh, and no more male swinger 'open carry'. It's all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out by some careless horny dude wielding a high capacity assault pocket Scud. Please go to We the People on the White House petition site and sign our petition to make American swinging great again! It's also been rumored that some young swingers are being radicalized and are planning to meet clandestinely for who knows WHAT! This has to STOP! Please vote for the return of traditional swinging values (key parties, gold chains, and lots and lots of chest and pubic hair). It's time to TAKE BACK our swing scene!

Gloryhole - Any glory holes in northern utah? - You should go on two for one single male night. All ladies get their choice of any two single dudes and all the condoms they can eat...er I mean use. And any accompanying hubby gets a free commemorative blindfold and bottomless Diet Coke laced with saltpeter. [em]Emo_67[/em] But seriously...swingers who've never been to Habits?!!? That's like a Mormon who's never been to Wendover. A Muslim who's never been to Mecca. A stripper who's never gotten pole burns. A fire hydrant that's never been peed on. Boobies that have never been to Victoria's Secret! [em]Emo_84[/em]
